Custom made short ram intake now with video

So I decided to take it upon myself to make my own little intake and 3d print air box and eventually and inlet. Maf adapter I purchased from plm and is pretty much identical to stock. Box is still a little bigger than I like but I want to see how petg holds up in the engine bay.

After driving with the airbox on the petg seems to be holding up well. I do feel like sound has been muted though and I think a vent on the side of airbox( side of box facing the front of hood) would be beneficial. Iat temps are pretty much stock on idle but once the car is on the highway the temps drop down way faster compared to stock

You could also look into SLA printing by Formlabs. They have a great collection of resins suitable for various high strength, high temp applications.

So far the petg is holding up quite well. It's 93 where I'm at. I let the car sit and idle for 15 mins just see how hot it would get and petg is holding strong with iat at 150f. Made an updated box.looks a little corny but I'm still playing around with ideas.

Printed cover. Gotta get a different filament brand because the one I purchased is not the greatest. Either way I think it looms decent for now.

Not sure if i should even adjust the maf curve from stock. Looks ok to me but unsure. I will get a driving video soon

Where did you get the 2.5” to 4” adapter from the maf adapter to go to the intake? Not the PLM Maf Adapter, I got that.
