That's what I'm thinking. I think it will be an EXL Civic but with 9 inch screen and they may replace the leather with the synthetic stuff. You'd also get the SI stuff in the base price. But if you want stuff like els sound system ect you'll have to pony up. Only 6 more days left before everything is revealed
dude it’s borderline torture
My Acura SA emailed me today confirming the 4 trims and aside from that they don’t even have accessories or anything loaded in their system

I expect a cluster of a preorder process.
hopefully as the Acura faithful are making threads the brave men and women in the Ohio plant are putting finishing touches on the lines

Andrew over at Vtec.net (who sales Acuras) says he is hearing that the Type S will be manual only. Dunno but that's what he's saying.

I’ve heard Auto only. Only way it’s manual only is that it gets the CTR engine.

I think you've got a better track record than Andrew does LOL. I just cant see it being manual only...I hope there is an option for both.

Did we miss ASpec getting Brembos, 2-piece rotors, 19” wheels, and 235/35/19 tires due to some inconsequential CVT news? The wheel size alone would generate a 10-page thread in the CivicXI forum. ASpec (6MT) is the sweet spot, IMHO. Anything less, get the Si.:drive:

Highly doubt we will get Brembo on the Base models. I do think they will have 18 inch rims

Looks like my plan of getting a base Integra for 30k went out the window. I only want it with a manual and I'm guessing that higher trim will be closer to 35K. I really hope the price difference is only about 2k.

It will still be an amazing bargain at $35,000! Count yourself fortunate!

Very dissapointing. I love my '17 EXL w/ CVT. But here we are over 5 years later and what is being sold as something new is a rebadge with a different shell.

This won't compel many Civic owners or fans to upgrade, and in this price range this car will be anemic on power.

Honda is just extracting value from the Acura brand to the point of dilution.

If they announced a turbo-k20 Type S with DCT or a 8 (or 9) speed, or even a CVT'd 1.5L with 200HP stock and sh-awd I would be interested.

Whatever comes to market won't even be for the rumored rumored prices because we're headed toward a recession with likely stagflation.

Inb4 everyone who hands over money to get on a reserve waiting list will see a price bump and the hate will flow before these cars are even delivered.

The "team" that tries to view things objectively and doesn't fanboy a thing?

The difference between a civic and these integras will be a tune and cosmetics. Tuning is not proprietary, no matter how much corporations would love the ability to lock the people out of overriding their artificial product differentiation.
