I bought a mishimoto for a FK8 instead. It was 199

I was thinking just an oem tank if it was cheaper, but this may be the permanent route to take...
Mishimoto is almost $300 now.

Not too bad. Once it gets to Canada, it was 475 $CAD for me at the end (and I got it at the black Friday sale from Mishimoto, was about 215 $US [vs 385 $US regular price]).

If anybody comes across the stock part number for the expansion tank, let us know. Thanks.

It is what it is. If I can't have fun with the car that I own, do what I want with it and more importantly post what I want to post about it all while other YouTubers post similar stuff... that kind of leaves me bitter about the entire vehicle purchase.
wait hes selling cause utubers aregiving him greif? Idk bout this.

I could give a fuck about other YouTuber's and what they think. Different story when the grief you mention is coming from your employer.

He was already posting unique interesting content but got lazy about it.
Plain and simple.
Tough to keep posting unique and interesting content on
1: a car that's already built up and the next step would be a $30,000 4.0L engine build.
2: a car that I no longer have because the wrong people saw my videos and I was forced to get rid of it.

Bottom line is that the revenue from YouTube generated by my videos on the ITS was helping to subsidize the car payment for the car.

It was going well. When I was told to take the videos down, I saw that as cutting off my revenue stream for the car. I could have continued onward with making new videos, but the content would not have been as cool because the VIN# was basically flagged. Anything worth doing on the car like engine bolt ons, performance mods, and tuning was out the window. I have no idea who it was at corporate that saw my videos, but if they continued to watch and saw a mod that voided my warranty, well then my warranty would have been voided.....and that is not just for however long I would have owned the car, but throughout the vehicles warranty term. Could you imagine trying to resell or trade in a car with a voided warranty?

So I didn't like the idea of fully paying for a car that I didn't need. I saw an opportunity to get into a cool new car and have some fun with it for a monthly car payment that mirrored that of one from 2015. If any of you would have had an opportunity to basically knock your car payments in half, you'd be lying if you said you wouldn't take it.

So yea. I got rid of the car. This is why.

Don't form an opinion as to what happened and then post them as facts.

I also have this problem. Going to get it checked by my local dealership in a few days. Anybody have an update on their experience getting this fixed?

Mine is currently at the dealership, they didn't want me driving it, but didn't have a loaner so I had to drive it for a few more days before they got one back. Part was backordered I was told, should be arriving on the 15th.
