Sorry that you had to deal with beading issues with your Apex wheels. On a similar note I have a friend who had trouble with one Titan7 TS-5 holding air on a PS4s: also because of the knurled bead seat. It doesn't happen to every wheel but sounds like this happens frequently enough with Michelins :(
Definitely recommend going to Japan at least once! Even beyond car culture, the food, the architecture is just something else, and you can find things for just about any hobby.
I went on vacation to Japan a little while ago and picked up a few small goodies from Super Autobacs. Also rented and FD2R to drive around for a day and did the pilgrimage to Daikoku PA!
Also stopped by Tsukuba Circuit. Rreally surreal to see a track I play all the time in Gran Turismo in...
Now that there's an ABP thread, I have an excuse to share more of the pics my friend took a while back.
It's definitely not as bad as black but dust can definitely leave a brown hue once it gets dirty. A ceramic coating definitely helps in adding some depth and making cleaning a lot easier.
Found them to be different PNs once DreamShop went live (as @Integra23 showed with the screenshots). I think the FL5 locks should still work but I ended up going with the ITS PN after finding a decent price for them online.
Thoughts after 2-ish months with the car.
Positive surprises
Very happy with the dynamics of the car. It still stands out to me how effortless it is to drive casually around town/on the freeway but can immediately swallow corners and make driving rewarding on curvy roads. It feels so playful...
How soon has it been since you had it tinted? Sometimes those smaller bubble with go away after curing especially if it is just moisture, but if it is still there after a week, definitely bring it back to your shop for them to fix it.
Went out with a friend who brought a camera and took a few shots. This makes me want to learn how to use a DSLR or mirrorless camera... On another note, it is getting more and more tempting to get springs to drop the car ever so slightly.
Had a somewhat busy weekend with the ITS. Swapped over to the accessory Ti shift knob and absolutely loving it. Didn't have the chance to weight it but it does feel heavier than the leather wrapped knob and I appreciate the subtle difference in feel
Also hardwired a blackvue 900x plus with...
So I mentioned in another thread that I got a full front PPF done. The cost was $2K and was in line with what other shops in my area were charging when shopping around ($1.8K - $2.5K in LA area). I had the option of either XPEL Ultimate Plus or STEK Dynoshield and went with STEK based on the...
Adding to this, I saw this thread on CivicXI encouraging to leave the original oil in and follow the maintenance minder. It looks here are additional additives in the original fill to assist with the break in process.

I was able to get 5.24% for 60 months with Schools First CU. Credit unions typically have more competitive rates, though as Integra23 says they are also on the rise. I would highly recommend shopping rates and if you are a member of a credit union to see if it possible to have financing done...
