Some of the other forums have this and thought it would be a nice addition. I created it on CivicXI.xom, this is the thread and shared it to FK8 group as well.

Having had an Elantra N, they are fantastic vehicles, and the dual clutch was really spot on. Interior was nice enough, and the performance options and the select-able modes and their configurations, i.e. TC off without doing a pedal dance, and allowed in any setting, along with the exhast...
The VW shifter in my MK7 GTI was terrible and sloppy compared to my other manual cars (Mazda/Honda/even Nissan Z). It was so bad that I traded it in for a DSG and the car was so much better to drive and well faster as well.
Having tuned my FL5, getting rid of rev hang made it so much more...
Wing alone is about 130 lbs of additional downforce at 200 kmh, as with things aero, it's all exponential based on speed, so 60 pounds is correct at a lower speed
I was thinking about this, and Drift King drove the FL5 and felt there was a downforce difference even between the OEM FL5 and the carbon spoiler, so there's definitely some downforce aero advantage for the FL5.
Does it effect track times (fl5 vs de5) at the end of the day, no one really has...
It's quite entirely possible for sure.
At least confidence wise, my FL5 did seem to be way more planted and confident on track than the one time I took the DE5 and the rear end behaved like a typical FWD with a light rear.
My one was stock except for front camber ball joints, and a tune. Bench racing here, I believe the more planted feeling is due to more aero and the CTR wing does indeed add downforce
I think some of that may be down to simple downforce and the FL5 wing. I did have different rubber between the FL5 and DE5, so not an exact comparison, but the FL5 rear was planted vs the DE5 that had a lot more movement. I'll learn more soon as I head to VIR in the DE5 in a couple months.
most people, myself included, drive the FL5 in the lowest mode, which is similar to the Sport mode. Most fast times on the FL5 is done on lowest dampening.
I used the TSP Stage 1 on my FL5 on track and it worked great. The additional power makes it a new new car.
My tuned Elantra N was faster than the stock FL5. with the tune it evened things out, or may have even had a little more power. But yeah, spending much more on car and having a slower...
