Dealer fixed my speaker rattle by inserting padding into the passenger door... whoop!

When I pulled the trigger on the aspec 6mt the Type S was in the back of my mind. At the time we didn't know if it would be offered in a 6mt (glad it is) and of course didn't know other price/ features. All said and done I can't see a 15k price gap between the aspec 6mt and the Type S. I know...

Also keep in mind that typically the oil shipped with a new car is a special blend for use during the break in period.... Generally I believe you want to keep this in the car for the full number of miles per the maintenance minder... Others pls feel free to weigh in as well.

Does it go away when you open the door? I’m trying to fix one and the same location - only occurs on a small portion of songs. I think the door panel vibrates against the side of the dash where they meet. If I unlatch/ open the passenger door it stops.

Any luck on getting this issue sorted? I have a vibration sound coming the the passenger door side that only occurs on a limited number of songs. The vibration noise stops when the door is opened- so it’s not the speaker itself. I believe the door card is coming into contact with the dash...

You could also check another Integra at the dealer - see if it feels / sounds any different from your car…

Gotcha… When my Si was new it would occasionally fight going into R when cold… but that was only on occasion and it completely went away after ~1000 miles. It was pretty mild and would always go in after a few tries. So far shifting w the Integra has been smooth for me.

I am on week 1 and so far the car has no issues getting into any gear. Does this happen only when the transmission is cold / get better after things warm up?

I think this is a solid start- and think Acura will end up with a sales winner... really curious to see the weight and HP numbers... Hoping for the base to maintain the same power/weight as the Gen X Si (~3100 lbs/ ~220hp for the Integra? ) but with Acura creature comforts. I really want to see...
