That's not too surprising. It's similar to what many did with the Integra release last year. They said Acura required the dealership to keep the first model for so many days for display. That way, if someone was interested in the car there would be one available to sit in and look at even if...
I also wonder how the MSRP of the ITS will affect dealer markups on CTRs ... I imagine a lot of people who get told they'll be paying a $10k markup on a CTR will immediately respond "I'll just get the Acura"
It wouldn't just be color, PCM can hold their value slightly better and have more of a collectable value down the line due to the limited production. If I got a PCM, I would only get a PCM in a PCM exclusive color due to that "collectable" factor. I actually prefer the Apex Blue that I got, but...
From a person who bought the a-spec 6-speed ... I saw the same mile long thread of complaints about price or "its not what I dreamed", take your blinders off. The regular integra sold at almost the same price difference to the si. While we may not be in the middle of the production crisis of the...
I called it in the predictions thread, basically priced right in the middle of the CTR and the TLX-S ... People will still buy it, they pay over that to get the CTR after mark-ups
I got the survey for my purchase/ reservation experience which also asked for thoughts on the vehicle and its features ... I was pretty conservative on the car mentioning dimming side mirrors, ventilated seats, and an option to not have a sunroof/moonroof as my big wants.
Most drivers around me...
I had the same problem with my Galaxy S22, I had to go into the smartphone connections and remove the phone, as well as go into the settings for android auto in my phone and clear all data ... then it took me through the pairing process again and hasn't happened since ... not sure which one...
In android auto I had to adjust the volume while it was "speaking" but it has been finicky at best, the volume settings is not a problem with the car but with android auto itself ... at least in my case, but even volume of 1 is plenty loud to me for Google
It's a shame they didn't keep it updated. The benefit of android is the ongoing Google updates for most things, and cars typically stay on the road a lot longer than the 2-3 years people keep cell phones
I wonder if the 10th gen's system also ran on an auto version of Android, if so it should be relatively simple due to the same or very close operating system
I noticed in poking around the radio settings that it is Android based and, more importantly, has the option to install apps from a USB.
Has anybody made apps for the tech-package infotainment system either for the Integra or the Civic with the same system?
Personally I'd love a digital gauge...
I've had a couple minor "ghost" problems but nothing like that ... drivers door wouldn't open from the outside handle after filling gas, even using the unlock button on the remote but hasn't happened since ... also while auto-off had the motor turned off at pay kiosk for a touchless wash the...
No judgements here. We didn't have public transit and my parents gave me my first car. Although it was a beater, I didn't earn it for sure. Glad you and yours are OK, my younger (30 year old) brother is still terrified to drive after the wrecks from people hitting me and my older brother at that...
They usually are. Having worked there as a seasonal rep, and for a company that served them, i can honestly say their business model is centered on earning member confidence and trust. Trustage is usually competitive and YAA is also a good source for quotes without spam. For Trustage, you do...
FL, one of the highest insurance fraud states, 50k/100k with $500 deductibles, age 24+ shipping and handling, clean record, excellent credit, and 10+ years continuous coverage ... 6 month paid in full is $653 with Progressive, but about to change as Costco got me a quote of $578 with a discount...
I am genuinely grateful to the forum community members who let me know of dealerships that they did have good experiences with relatively nearby. If I was in more of a rush and less "laid back" about the whole transaction it would have been a life saver.
I had been referred to some other Florida dealerships that had no markup other than mandatory floor and truck mats. I didn't wanna drive an uncomfortable car nearly 200 miles and wasn't in a rush. I made the mistake of trusting that mine would keep their word of no add-ons ... but in all the...
There are a few good dealerships out there, but they're few and far between. It's just become an accepted industry practice to gas-light, lie to, and scam their customers. Unfortunately there isn't much the manufacturer can do right now because the business model is regulated by law in every...
