When you say “reformat”, did you do the general settings > system> Factory Data Reset? In my case, I had to reprogram the radio station, infotainment tile placements, and certain vehicle settings. Took about 10 minutes, but it sorted out a big problem I was having.
If anyone has a less...
iOS18 update:
For those who recently updated your iOS, not sure if your CarPlay got super glitchy. I was for me…cutting in and out and freezing.
Eventually, I did what others suggested (general settings > system> Factory Data Reset), and now it’s been working flawlessly for several days...
Here is some helpful advice.
1) check OfferUp for OEM wheels
2) check Facebook marketplace
3) work with your insurance to get reimbursed for the theft and take advantage to upgrade.
In my case, the problem seems to completely have gone away several months ago. It used to be pretty obvious mostly at highway speeds, but now it drives great without a hint of steering choppiness.
Strange, but I’m happy!
You swapped the FL5 sensors for Type-S sensors?
I was under the impression that Integra Type-S and non Type-S sensors are different? How did you get that to work on your A-Spec?
Also, did you ever try to see if the FL5 sensors automatically sync (after taking it for a drive +40mph), or did you...
I actually ended up buying an +2022 MDX one shortly after my post to you. I found it on eBay for $80 shipped. Since the glass was chipped, I swapped it out for the Integra glass. Also had to mod the inner side of the glass.
I did a small write up and posted in one of the Homelink threads.
I finished my MDX mirror swap today. Here is how it went:
I found a used mirror on eBay with chipped glass. It was cheap enough that it caught my attention. I was able to swap it out pretty much using the Accord mirror instructions.
Since I had to reuse my Integra glass, the only difference I...
I think I’m ready to go the route of the MDX mirror. Please help clarify the following:
1) If I buy a used MDX mirror that has damage to the front glass, I can combine my Integra’s glass to the back half of the MDX mirror?
2) If so, what other parts should I use from my Integra? I want the...
Hi Bao. Do you happen to have a part number for the Civic mirror?
I’ve read a few other threads on mirrors, and I see a few variations. Would you say this is the most cost effective way, or do you recommend the Accord route? I don’t mind going the used route.
Thanks! I’d probably recommend doing 25mm all around. There was space for it, plus you wouldn’t run into the issue of the original studs hitting the backside of the center of the wheel. If you’re unclear on that, please check one of my earlier threads discussing the suspension upgrades.
Glad you figured it out. One of my doors was very easy to do. The other side, the clear stick piece you speak about was sticking out a bit. It made it hard to slide out the cover that needs to be transferred over. Had to bend it a tad to slide it out.
In the end, great mod that brings the...
What is the part number you installed?
Keep in mind they only turn on when the headlights are on. During nighttime driving, mine are pretty bright. I have the ones from the Civic Type-R footwell.
That’s exactly why I prefer doing work myself (unless recall). My way of thinking is: Nobody is going to care more about my car than me.
That’s also why I never let the delearship wash my car. I even put multiple NO WASH signs in addition to telling the service advisor.
You said driver door, so this should do the trick. Not too bad for $100, and it won’t look repaired. Door handles are pretty simple to swap out. I would be annoyed if I had to constantly see it and even worse, possible touch it since it looks pretty sharp...
