  1. Occasional long crank on the A-spec

To continue my own thread, had 2 long cranks yesterday after a very long period without them. Strangely it was very dewy in the morning and warmer, long crank. After work another long crank felt like it wouldn't start. I am at 42k now, very odd. It almost feels like wetness affects ignition. Or...
  2. Anyone else disappointed in the tuning capabilities of the A-Spec Integra?

I got a little over 40k on the odometer of my A-Spec and I must say i am really enjoying it. I got it at the tail end of Covid and Civic SI was going for more money than the Integra. I had a '95 GSR in the past which was a great car but wasn't that a rebadged Civic as well? Aside from little...
  3. Engine Rattle

THe GSR had an inner weld issue before in the A pipe. I remember having that issue back in 1999 time frame. Not sure if this one has a similar A pipe or not. Also could it be a heat shield on the cat?
  4. Rear ended at 3k miles.

I recently got a nick on the bumper waiting in a high school pick up line in my A-spec. I have the white color and my body shop took the bumper off filled in the nick and did blend as they explained it. They offered to buy a whole new bumper or repair the old as the nick was small. One comment...
  5. Rear ended at 3k miles.

From personal experience just 'cause they are an Acura dealer doesn't mean they are good at body work. In the past I found an Acura dealer to be a horrible crook in the body shop area. So I would just find a well recommended body shop.
  6. Occasional long crank on the A-spec

I am at over 18k at this point a little over a year old. Day one issue, once in a blue moon maybe 10 times total a very long crank time. Feels like no fuel but could be spark as well I guess, or some sensor. Usually when it happens it ends up being a 5 second crank, I think last time it was...
  7. Steering slightly crooked

Mine with the A-Spec is about 2 degrees to the right. My dealer has not been able to address, gave all sorts of excuses.
  8. DIY Oil Change Recommendation

The current HONDA oil filter is made by FRAM, and I think every dealer uses a 0W20 synthetic of their choosing. So whatever you do yourself, will be just as good as the dealer I think. Mine has overfilled my car consistently now, I had to drain a bunch out. I think they assign the least capable...
  9. Swapping Rear USB-A Ports to USB-C

By the way, I guess we have rear ducts ?
  10. Swapping Rear USB-A Ports to USB-C

From the way I read the schematics it should be just the USB -> USB-C unit swap, harness is the same for both.
  11. Swapping Rear USB-A Ports to USB-C

https://dreamshop.honda.com/ has all the schematics Actually '23 Lists both a regular USB and USB C. Interesting maybe they planned to release A Spec Tech with USB C but never did
  12. Swapping Rear USB-A Ports to USB-C

I think the harness is the same its the '24 USB C unit that you would need
  13. Recommended Set of Brake Pads?

Yes Nissin was not only the pad but also the caliper vendor for honda, may still be.
  14. Recommended Set of Brake Pads?

I have to say that the stock brake pads on the Integra seem to have a pretty good bite, cold or not. I think honda brakes typically are not very good, but these seem pretty good for every day driving. I have searched for a good aftermarket pads, and have failed mostly. I liked StopTech Sport the...
  15. 1.5L TurboCharged Engine a ticking bomb?

Wouldn't the previous Gen Civic and CRV engine longevity give us some clue? Both had 1.5T options. My '17 CRV never had the oil cunsumption and is at 80k. I did a search a while back and there is plenty of 1.5T Civics out there that made it well past 100k. I think these engines will last. Plus...
  16. Spare Tire

84545-3S5-A10. Perfectly flush cargo floor, because it dove tails into the spare tire, which in my case is although not the exact part number but is still exactly the same 17x4T size from the Accord.
  17. Spare Tire

  18. New Honda/Acura parts lookup site

Interesting that Honda is doing something like this, the schematics for Integra are still missing from the usual online dealer sites still.
  19. crickets - some of my thoughts on the upcoming Integra Type S

Given what we've seen from the pictures, I would say that the roof dimensions are the same. Thusly the roof rack should be the same, unless I am missing something.
