Update: Found out that when the car was sitting and had the wheel at full lock so I can touch the spring under load it would make the noise and bind by me just wiggling it back and forth. So I assumed it was a problem with the spring itself just binding. Eibach sent me a new spring since I tried...
Ah that would make sense why I couldn't see it. Ill get my hands on a better scanner but in the meantime I contacted the seller to see if I can get an extra one sent. Will update once I fix it.
42753-T3R-A04 From ebay. They look the same as the ones PRL sells on their site.
When the light came on and all the tires looked like that it was already after a good amount of driving and was totally random. I didn't have my laptop with me but tunerview allows you to check and read codes from...
after I dropped it the light didn’t come on so I filled it back up to 35 psi and then after driving for like 25-30 min it looked like this
then I cleared the code and it went back to how it was in the first picture in the thread.
Yeah I’m thinking it’s the sensor itself. I dropped the psi to like 25 and nothing came up so I drove a bit and the tpms light came on so I cleared it and it’s still the same.
I switched wheels and noticed that after driving for some time all of the tpms sensors were reading except for one. I am not getting a tpms light and scanned the car with my Ktuner and didn’t see anything. Is there a way to reset the system or am I just unlucky and got a faulty one. I’ve driven...
I lubed all contact points with silicone grease.
Do the pro kit silencers move up and down? if they do then it is possible the spring compressor could have slid it down a bit.
Alright so I went to go replace the strut bearing on the side making the noise and noticed that the spring was not seated properly. Fixed that and replaced the bearing while I was at it. The noise was still there. The noise isn’t as bad now but it happens when i just wiggle the wheel back and forth.
They are progressive and have sleeves like this:
After looking around online and seeing similar issues some people said they fixed it temporarily by spraying WD-40 at the points of contact for the springs and strut bearing.
I'm definitely not going to use WD-40 and will use some sort of...
Yeah I didn't torque the endlinks with any preload. In videos of installs I didn't see them do it like that so I assumed I didn't need to.
Here is a better video:
I made sure to do that.
Its more of a thud from in the car and I really only hear it turning at low speeds. Drove it on the highway and other than needing an alignment the car drives fine. But I'll check it to see if its loose in there once I get it jacked up.
I did the top one at 48 lbs
the 3 nuts holding the strut at 55 lbs
the end links at 47 lbs
and the bolt that holds the strut in the knuckle at 58 lbs
I didn't wiggle the spring when I had it up in the air to check just checked the tightness on everything else. When I have time next weekend I am...
I installed the front half of the eibach pro kit a few days ago and during the initial test drive there wasn't any sounds that immediately jumped out at me. But the next day when I went to drive I noticed a clunk from the drivers side but up by the steering wheel towards the top hat. So I jacked...

Hey everyone. I have ordered a set of wheels in 18x9.5 +38 and was wondering if anyone with the same specs (or very similar) can share what they have done to lower the car. Right now I would prefer to get a set of lowering springs and possibly upgrade to a set of coilovers in the future.
The...
