Good to know they got it fixed for you.
My local dealer is on the shit list of dealers on this site so it would take some convincing for my issue to be fixed. I don't think the service dept. there is inherently terrible but just incompetent based on my experience with the other issues that they...
Unfortunately it's still inconsistent in mine. Some days it will do it every turn, some days it makes no noise.
I tried showing it to my wife to make sure I wasn't crazy, and guess what it didnt do? I'd imagine at this point it would do the same at the dealership and I'll make a 1.5hr round...
When I picked mine up (same month as you did) the dealership I went to had 2 integras. Both 6spd white with black interior.
I didn't realize this was unicorn spec.
I feel that. The wife would kill me if I did all that. I used to say I would never buy a factory turbocharged car because of how easy it is to tune them and I didn't trust myself not to tune it immediately. Still no tune. Still no mods. Had the car since 9/22. I guess this is what growing up is?
The one and only time I felt it was on a cooler day. I did 400
miles (freedom units) this past week and didn't feel any issues. Bonus is that I measured 38.5mpg (freedoms units of gas; car said i was getting 39.9mpg when i pulled up to the pump) and was cruising 75-80 most of the trip.
I never really noticed there were pops on limiter until I heard you hit it in this video.
Videos like these really make me want to get an exhaust...I've held out a year and a half so far...this can't go on too much longer...
White is notorious for these showing up albeit I haven't seen it that apparent before. The iron particles get stuck in the clear coat since it is porous. After you use the iron remover, do a detail with either ceramic wax or a ceramic coat and that should fill the pores (for some time, not...
It was never consistent enough to force a dealer trip. Temperatures dropped and it no longer makes the noise. The noise disappearing with the temperature drop makes sense since I would only hear it when ambient temperatures were 90+.
If there's an update, it will likely come 6-7 months from now...
You may not have noticed, but there are pops and burbles with the stock exhaust once the temperature gauge reaches 2 bars or above. They arent easy to hear with the stock exhaust but they are there.
