  1. Weird Flex (how low can you go?)

i have a lot of 55mph-70mph highway commuting. perfect prius territory. ITS is just too much fun for the small part of my commute that is fun. may just get another ITS ... hmmmm just like people with bourbon, wine, etc ... a bottle to drink and a bottle to save for when you can't get it...
  2. Weird Flex (how low can you go?)

relatively similar for me .. on the highway i notice economy drop off as I move through the high 60mphs and into the 70s and def by the time i get into the 80s... i have been driving a lot more lately (~50-60mi/day 5 days/week) and have contemplated getting a Prius or at least an Si which is...
  3. Weird Flex (how low can you go?)

yeah - it's such a small tank.. granted a longer tank just takes longer and stopping at a pump is still a nuisance. i had a Passat TDI that got like 750mi/tank and i remember still running that baby down pretty far. glad to know i'm not the only irresponsible(ish) one out there. also good to...
  4. Weird Flex (how low can you go?)

even just daily driving I feel like i live at the pump. Average about 27mpg. Can hypermile and get around 33mpg on the highway but thatā€™s no fun.
  5. Weird Flex (how low can you go?)

hold my beer .... jk ... i feel like it's good to know what kind of reserve these babies have even though it's clearly a bad idea to push the limits. i had a friend once who said their father ran the DTE meter to zero and truly ran out at that moment. I've never run out of fuel luckily on...
  6. Weird Flex (how low can you go?)

I was definitely hypermiling when I was down lowā€¦ long commute and felt like I would make it but also passed quite a few gas stations as well. Just pushing the limits basically. good to know that car doesnā€™t shut off immediately when it reads zero. At least my specific car. I donā€™t think it...
  7. Weird Flex (how low can you go?)

Fuel range was 0mi for a couple of miles before I filled up. When I filled up I had to put 10.968 gallons in. Didnā€™t top off at all although I should have to maximize my efforts. Had anyone run out of fuel? How low have you gotten? Please be careful out there, but also feel free to try and...
  8. Great article about the death of local "speed shops"

Miata is hard to ignore. GR86 is another .. I refer to it as the ā€œcool Miataā€. Haha. Porsche is great but their prices are insane. GTS is what GT4 used to cost a few years and did you see the GT3 starting priceā€¦ sheeeesh. Great cars though. If Iā€™m spending $300+ on a car Iā€™m probably...
  9. Great article about the death of local "speed shops"

oh i get it! i've definitely gone more towards simplicity especially with how often i've been goin through cars the past 10 years. going back to stock is work and additional money lost that doesn't make sense to me anymore. with Innovative being so darn close and highly regarded it has been...
  10. Great article about the death of local "speed shops"

Did you end up doing any tuning? I work 5 min from Innovative and thinking about messing with my car at some point. Also my buddy had a TON of stuff done to his ā€˜06 WRX wagon by IAG. lol I think heā€™s sunk like $200k into that car over the last couple years šŸ˜‚ there is no end to modding if...
  11. Integra Type S vs. Supra 3.0 as daily and track/weekend car

thatā€™s a nice way to think about it šŸ‘šŸ¼
  12. Integra Type S vs. Supra 3.0 as daily and track/weekend car

So many opinions which is why there are so many options! Fun talking through this stuff but ultimately itā€™s very subjective at the end of the day. Forums are for sharing words so no reason to apologize regarding the verbosity!
  13. Integra Type S vs. Supra 3.0 as daily and track/weekend car

F250 for doing work. Yukon for hauling kids. Integra feels like a GoKart in comparison. Iā€™ve tried to convince my wife to use an M3 for her primary car ā€¦ but she really loves the Yukon and sheā€™s let me go through ~30 cars during our 12yr marriage so she deserves her Yukon. It really is a...
  14. Integra Type S vs. Supra 3.0 as daily and track/weekend car

Thanks for the thoughtful response. Cool that your mom is rocking the Supra! How fun! Thereā€™s an x-factor when driving a car that is hard to appreciate by reading reviews. I wish I could test drive one. Or an M2. The M2 is $80k which is A) $15k more than the F80s I bought back in 2015-2016...
  15. Integra Type S vs. Supra 3.0 as daily and track/weekend car

The Voodoo blue M2 is beautiful that Iā€™ve been looking at .. buckets and 6MT.. carbon roof. Great spec but I prefer subtle colors to prevent negative attention. I think for the cost premium you get a lot of power, more ā€œflexā€ā€¦ plus RWD hooning. I do think low speed fun and road communication...
  16. Integra Type S vs. Supra 3.0 as daily and track/weekend car

i drove an m240i and thought it was a snoozefest. Those motors are darn fast especially with a tune, etc etc etc. Price point doesnā€™t make sense to me on the non-m cars ā€¦ unless certified which I think is the way to go. 2008 CPO 335i I got back in 2010 was such a great value. Not a track...
  17. Integra Type S vs. Supra 3.0 as daily and track/weekend car

True, but despite all of that, the driving experience in the ITS really is something special. RWD cars are generally more ā€œfunā€ but Iā€™d say the ITS beats a lot of those out in enough categories to still hold its own. What Iā€™d really like to do is keep the ITS and also get a fun RWD car...
  18. Integra Type S vs. Supra 3.0 as daily and track/weekend car

so many. I went and put my name on the list for Z06/ZR1 after I left Toyota. Then I went to sit in an M4CSL ..those fixed buckets are no joke. Voodoo blue m2 looked spectacular they had also. Not enough time or money ā€¦. I just need some warmer days so I can go rip on the ITS .. that should...
  19. Integra Type S vs. Supra 3.0 as daily and track/weekend car

Supra looks tiny, not surprised to hear the visibility suffers but Iā€™ve had Camaros and a C8 Z06 which all had poor visibility. Iā€™ll admit I did see the lightning lap for the Supra was better than the civic type rā€¦ makes me think I could hustle it around the track faster than an ITS. The...
  20. Integra Type S vs. Supra 3.0 as daily and track/weekend car

Bottom line up front: any of you ITS owners ever driven a Supra 3.0 manual? What are your thoughts? The utility and size is kinda obvious so not worth discussing at length but i'd be interested in hearing thoughts on steering, pedal, shifter feel as well as power, chassis, etc. I love my ITS...
