for sure if i step on the gas pedal a bit more aggressive it goes down very quickly. I just pace it out slowly usually. Premium gas also buys a few mpg and helps a bit but not a whole lot.
I heard for the L15 super charged engines they are made very poorly and have been blowing their gaskets prematurely. Some say premium gas helps, some say replacement of the gasket bolts help. No idea. So far still love the car, after over a year of ownership. Still bummed they couldnt give us a...
Its been a year folks, been consistently getting around 34 - 33 combined. When driven a bit more aggressive roughly around 30. With real world mpg calculated during fueling 2-3 mpg lower than stated.
Thats really good to know!i also enjoy overtaking slow traffic and hitting those corners a bit bit harder. For the time being its honestly enough and dont need a tune, but you know, wouldnt hurt to get another 30 plus hp :) ill do that probably when my warrenty expires!
Thanks guys, I unsubscribed his ass xD but i do want to do a tune though but yeah as others have mentioned might be a risk if i want my car to run safely and smooth.
thanks for the reassurance! Do you often drive it hard? I usually grandma it but if i need to pass someone i stomp on the acceleration lol but yeah would have been great if they gave us a 2.0l turbocharger that would be a beast! I was gonna do a hondata tune but maybe not for now since car is...
Hey thanks for the reply. The funny thjng is he made a video about how great the 2023 integra was just a month or two ago and now hes stomping on it xD i cant believe he has the fan base that he has with his daily "this will change the entire car insustry" videos lololol
Hello,
Just finished watching Scotty Kilmer on Youtube. Maybe many of you already heard of him, but he said that pushing the Engine especially the small 1.5 L and making it TurboCharged, is very risky and not very reliable. I have heard from others saying similar things on the internet. Some...
hmm nice to know. We are around 45-55ish here in cali. still just a bit under 1000 miles so far on my car. Hopefully it breaks in soon and will be a bit better XD
OP here just reporting back been getting 30 to 31mpg 70 percent freeway and 30 percent local. Surprisingly low. Turned off idle off used premium and regular gas seems to make little to no diff and also slow acceleration and no spirited driving. Not too bad at least it wasnt 13 mpg xD
I just bought a house so, I am just looking for the pennies on the ground at the moment xD But yeah I talked to my cousin, who has owned many cars. He basically had similar input. He did some math and told me the the extra MPG I get from premium will cover the cost of the extra gas at the pump...
Thanks for the data! I thought it was impossible too but they said they getting 39mpg. No idea how but maybe its incorrect? Anyway im still happy with 30-31 :)
After a week and a refill im getting roughly 30 to 31 mpg surprisingly bad! I though I would get 40 like most poeple. I been babying it driving like half free way and half local on a cvt with regular gas. Might try premium next time!
Thank you for this reply my friend. This makes me feel a bit more reassured. But what do you mean low end torque is the biggest enemy of CVT. What can I do for my integra to prevent low end torque? Should I go tune it specifically to prevent issues with the transmission so it can last longer?
This looks phenomenal did you have to take the assembly piece out to wrap it? OR you just warpped it over it without taking the console off?
Looks difficult if it was just on there. Might be hard to get into the corners with a knife that might cut the assembly or possiblytheleather on the seats...
