To sum this up: people will complain that they aren't type R seats and aren't nearly aggressive enough, and then with the next breath complain that they don't have memory settings.
I have never thought about the seats while sitting in them in any way, which I think is a good thing
Tough to say without hearing it but the stock tires can be pretty loud on certain surfaces. Try swerving back and forth while going at a speed where you hear the noise, if it's a wheel bearing you should be able to hear a change as you load/unload that side.
I've never had a grind but 1-2 is definitely the worst shift by far in terms of smoothness. If there's a way to adjust that I'd be interested as well. To me it feels like it might almost grind, but doesn't quite (5k miles)
As promised: pics. I think they look pretty good especially for the price. Also was happy with tire rack, they came with a socket, instructions, centering rings on the wheels: very easy.
Yes - I figured it was easiest this way, plus no charge for mounting. They ship with a cardboard disc covering the wheel and the tire rubber exposed - super low cost packaging!
I'm glad this thread mentioned the under-seat vents. There is air in the rear, although it isn't visible to the passenger I suppose.
I will say the rear camera isn't a huge deal, but I do find it interesting that the interface is exactly the same as the one on my 2021 Odyssey, but the picture...
The trunk space is great, usability is great, and the car doesn't feel big to me except in parking lots, where it is harder to park in crowded lots than my Odyssey (turning radius). I find myself backing in a lot more because of this - it makes the car feel a lot longer than it is!
Short answer - no. Longer answer - if values held high enough for it to make sense, maybe. But definitely not expecting to trade in for a newer one. I plan to keep this car a long time.
I would consider, if you haven't already, getting all seasons for the winter if you're sticking with the OEM wheel size. And possibly going up to 35 profile as mentioned above.
I would guess it's to do with the exhaust. I assume the reason you can't start it in individual or sport + but it will remember either comfort or sport, is because of the bypass valve. But I'm not an expert on EPA startup tests, just an idea!
I'm waiting until some pre-cut kits are available, otherwise for me it doesn't seem worth it. In the meantime I stay away from trucks if on the highway.
Yeah it's pretty far back, but I think you could fit it with a less reclined seat. This is an infant one which is very horizontal. It would fit on the passenger side with the seat pushed moderately up.
It would only be possible to do this using latch in the middle of course, which has a weight limit. The latches are pretty wide on the outer seats so using them for the middle doesn't put them at a bad angle. First thought might be that this is a safety issue, but based on where the latches are...
