  1. Front passenger suspension noise (sway bar bushing?)

Quick update. Went back last week for steering recall and mentioned it again. They looked into it and only found rattling glovebox which they're just going to replace under warranty. They did say they'll be happy to work with me and go for a drive together next time to try to find it. Otherwise...
  2. Finding traction in 1st/2nd gear

Thanks for the tip @Victorofhavoc. I'm not looking to win straight line races, but just trying to get some improvements in traction overall. I have more fun going fast in corners more than anything, but I was definitely able to throw my old car much harder in corners and roundabouts, even when...
  3. Front passenger suspension noise (sway bar bushing?)

Mine was front passenger side. So I thought it was getting worse in the past couple of days but it's just the extra cold weather here and something in my glove box (spare USB cable maybe). It sounded more like a rattling today. Was actually kinda embarrassing and I was glad my dealer service...
  4. Front passenger suspension noise (sway bar bushing?)

I'm taking mine in today and will report back. I have no suspension mods so they can't just blame it on that at least. But they can obviously still say they didn't find anything. My past cars were mostly used so I don't know if they already had dealt with these but stock, they had very soft...
  5. Finding traction in 1st/2nd gear

Heh, thanks. I've since had a few small performance mods and making some more power, so definitely not going to find that traction now. That said, I do think whenever these PS4S wear out, I'll move to Cup 2 or RE71r which should help a bit more. Part of it I find is that older roads with more...
  6. Front passenger suspension noise (sway bar bushing?)

I have 19,000kms so about 12k miles and had the car for almost 2 years now. In the past couple of weeks, I've started to notice a slight clunking sound over small bumps at crawling and slow speeds, usually over smaller bumps, especially with driveways, etc. I've had a few cars now and have...
  7. Jester’s Tuning thread

Wanted to share my experience with getting a tune with Javier as well. I'm in Canada and had the opportunity to get the ECU unlocked by Hondata's team that had an almost impromptu trip to Toronto. I was not very satisfied with the power curve with the Hondata 93 octane base tune. It was fun, a...
  8. Hondata Tour Jailbreaking the DE5

Hondata came up to Canada this weekend (Thornhill) and I couldn't say no to a 50min drive and 20 min session. Down side is they weren't offering discounts at all, but I mainly didn't want to ship my ECU across the boarder. Running 93 base map with PRL HVI, PRL intercooler, and HPS charge pipe...
  9. Burples and pops GONE, Fixed.

Clearing code worked for me as well. Did not need to disconnect battery. Mine was related to stored code from when I forgot to plug in the sensor after removing intake.
  10. Burples and pops GONE, Fixed.

I did the battery disconnect this morning. Have driven 15km so just under 10miles and definitely had one opportunity for it to get warm enough. Still hasn't come back yet. Ordered a basic OBD scanner and hoping it is good enough. Will keep driving until I receive it and see if it returns without...
  11. Burples and pops GONE, Fixed.

I had zero issues with HVI until I made my own screw up of not plugging the sensor in. Prior to that, drove without issues and just fun for at least 1000km and a few hundred km after charge pipes. Waiting to see if battery reset helps today
  12. Burples and pops GONE, Fixed.

So I've been dealing with lost pops and burbles for a few days. It all started with a popped charge pipe. I have to say that HPS fitment is not anywhere close as accurate as PRL stuff. Anyway, pops and burbles were fine after I popped it back temporarily to get home and there was no CEL. After...

  14. All About That Intake -- List of Air Intakes for Integra Type S

Turns out, it's not that tight. I just wiggled it really hard while turning it back and forth and it came off. I looked at AHC Garage video of the install and it looked like they didn't have this issue. I didn't want to cut it off cus it would spray metal shards in the engine bay that could rust...
  15. All About That Intake -- List of Air Intakes for Integra Type S

I received my PRL HVI today. Doing install now. Damn you Acura!!
  16. All About That Intake -- List of Air Intakes for Integra Type S

Hahaha. Sadly I'm using my sick days cus I'm actually currently sick. Will need to find other time! Meanwhile, got confirmation from PRL that initial production units have shipped...
  17. All About That Intake -- List of Air Intakes for Integra Type S

Just checked UPS and looks like they picked up the package last night and I have an ETA for tomorrow!!! 😬🤞 I'm also expecting HPS charge pipe (black came in stock for a bit last week) which looks to have shipped too. Now need to find time to get them all in there.
  18. All About That Intake -- List of Air Intakes for Integra Type S

Just got notification from PRL with shipping label created for the HVI. Intercooler took two days to deliver to Canada after label creation. Hope this is really happening and not just going to sit around for a month with no updates.
  19. All About That Intake -- List of Air Intakes for Integra Type S

So just FYI. I contacted PRL to try my luck. I sent the support request on Friday Feb 23 and received a response on Feb 26 saying that they'll refund me $120 on the radiator along with a separate email notifying me of the refund. This is a good sign. Fingers crossed that it continues and all the...
  20. Catching under the front lip

Just saw this thread. I've been having this problem coming out of some parking lots. Every time I'm worried it's the bottom of the front bumper but so far it's this lip. This is the only thing holding me back from lowering the car. If I lower it, I feel like I'd just scrape the bumper instead...
