That's exactly how the conversation started. They wanted to confirm my order for 255/35 19 wasn't a mistake. I explained what I was looking for (winter setup on oem) and he suggested the 245/35.

😆that reminds me...last year I bought a really nice expensive snow blower. I didn't use it once.

I spoke with a representative at Tire Rack who suggested Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 XL in 245 35R 19. I had them installed today on the spare oem wheels included in the "launch package".

I posted about this in another thread. Mine is the accessory wheel but it was also off to the left. Took it in this week. Service dept corrected the alignment and it seems to be ok now. Interestingly I was discussing this with a friend of mine who's a "car guy" he was not convinced it was...

I have a deal in place on another demo model I can pass along to an interested forum member. $61,500, I'm not profiting from this just trying to help without overwhelming the dealer with a flood of window shoppers. PM me for details.

It was a pretty easy install. I peeled off half of the adhesive then lined it up around the shifter bezel. Then I worked my way to the mode selector. From there I peeled the remainder of the adhesive and worked toward the rear. I do recall having to peel a small section and reapply with no problem.

I applied the Synth Carbon piece today. I actually like it. Maybe someday we get a better option, but this will do for now.

Cars going back anyway on the 9th for the mirror caps to be installed correctly. They can adjust this too.

Anyone else notice their alignment is off center? Never had this happen with a new car (300 miles). Haven't hit any pot holes or even driven it hard yet.

I typically enjoy Camissa's sense of humor, not so much in the podcast format though. I can see how he might rub some the wrong way. He is a bit contrarian, that's his brand.

Update on my missing accessories: All items accounted for. The GM located floor mats and the oem shift knob. They are also going to re-instal the carbon fiber mirror caps. They were certainly not aligned properly.

I ordered the center console piece for my Type S. I wasn't expecting a flexible sticker. After seeing your post I might give it a try. After all a carbon fiber sticker is no worse than a plastic wrap...right?
