Turns out it was a fluke and received a bad part. Proimporttuners sorted it out really quick and sent a replacement which fit much better. Shout out to them and their great customer service!

Just received the replacement mirror cap today and installed it. The fitment was great. Cristian from proimporttuners was awesome and quick to respond. No one should have any hesitation ordering from them. Thanks again!

Thanks for the tip. The mirror cap came with adhesive on the inside that I hoped would hold. I used painters tape to keep the cap in place while the adhesive cured for 24 hours but unfortunately as soon as I removed the tape, the cap popped back up.

Now I’m starting to doubt myself and kind of want to reinstall the struts and try again…

5’9”, 170lbs, 40yo Build: Athletic…somewhat With the stronger struts, I feel like a small child could hang from the open hatch, and it wouldn’t close.

I actually never closed it all the way. I might just be weak but I had trouble pulling down the hatch with one arm. That’s when I decided it wasn’t for me.

Just installed the FL5 700N struts and they made the hatch trunk too hard for me to close. Ended up putting back the original struts.

dang I was hoping they were removable covers on the tips. Definitely won’t be chopping them off…

Is anyone familiar with whether the exhaust tips can be removed? I am interested in painting them black or finding replacement exhaust tips in black if they exist…

I put a deposit at Radley Acura in VA with Bob for MSRP. Seeing a LCM/black in transit, I inquired about it. Bob informed me that the manager will let me have it with a $3500 ADM with an explanation that it is an allocated car from Acura and not an order reserved for anyone so it is not at MSRP...

Just contacted Radley Acura near Alexandria, VA and was told “the manufacturer is making them charge a $5k markup”. 😂
