Had my first oil change at 5k (50% oil life showing) and service manager said they'd do it every 5k if I wanted. I guess it just depends on which dealer.
I'm usually in individual mode before the needle sweep is done. After 4 months, it's pretty much muscle memory to hit the individual button right after starting. And for the times when I happen to forget, I usually remember before releasing the parking brake.
I hear a brief but consistent buzz on throttle at around 5000 - 5400 rpm. It also sounds like it's coming from the dash and not the engine bay.
I plan on mentioning it during the first oil change and hopefully having a tech drive with me so I can point it out, but I'm also not expecting much...
I really like the perforated leather wheel. If the heated steering wheel was perforated, I'd consider it, but I much prefer the feel of perforation over smooth leather.
I'd place this wheel #2 from the cars that I've owned, right behind the TT/R8 wheel. TT/R8 wheel takes the cake for me due to...
Same thing happened to me over the weekend. Was certain that it was one of the cars next to me until I rolled down the windows and realized it was coming from my car.
Pulled off into the nearest neighborhood, put it in reverse, turned the wheel and then braked. Had a few sportscars over the...
100% agree with this. Over the past 9+ years of having sportscars on 19s with at most an extra inch in diameter to the ITS, I've never bent a wheel - *knocks on wood
Paying attention and keeping a safe following distance from the car in front of you really helps to see what's up ahead and...
On my first full day with the ITS I got caught in lovely DMV area traffic and it felt so easy to drive in with this car. Reminded me of my 07 Si in how effortless it was to drive.
I agree. I had a dealer that was previously 5K markup reach out to me to essentially negotiate. Not sure how much they'd be willing to come off of it but this time last month they weren't willing to budge. So here's to hoping for more reasonable prices at more dealers across the board later in...
All first world problems here but would be nice to have the option to unlock all doors with a single press of the unlock button on the keyfob.
And the touch response for unlocking through the door handle is a bit slow. I've had more than a few instances where I'm pulling the door handle before...
That's pretty cool that they replied directly to you to confirm.
The article still makes me wonder how many other comparison tests are done with test data from different days.
This is the first thing that came to mind when I read it, which also means the numbers are based on 91 octane and not 93. I'd think a large publication like C&D would think to point out that very important difference. But if they're okay doing a comparison article based off of two separate tests...
OP said white/red, so it's not that one.
Like others have said, getting it for $55k sounds like a good deal. I'd jump on it if I wanted the factory options.
I'll echo this. I was initially 10th on the list at a dealer which only expected 8 allocations. Was expecting to be early next year but got a call last week about one that apparently showed up unexpectedly at the dealer. One person in front of me bought a FL5 and never withdrew their deposit...
I'd say it depends on the specific dealer. This is my first Acura as well and the finance manager was pretty confident in saying they always provide a loaner. I talked to him about how for my wife's Lexus they always provide loaners but for my Audi they are super stingy with giving loaners (and...
I ended up loving this car after seeing it and getting it in LCM. I have now seen it in ABP, PWP and LCM and I'm convinced that this car looks amazing in any color.
I appreciate all the feedback. I've only ever seen the ITS in person in blue and white, so it'll be a gametime decision on how I feel when I see it in LCM later today.
I'm waiting for ABP/ebony or PWP/red at a smaller dealer but got a call today about LCM/ebony and I have day to decide. I'm torn because if I pass, it could be next year for what I want.
Not sure how many people fall into the subset of being an alarm.com user with an ITS but I was excited to see this announced and plan to use it with Android Auto.
