Well below zero (Fahrenheit) today where I'm at. I think more odd noises when it's cold is normal. Clutch pedal was also noticeably slow to rebound after being pushed in to change gears.
I've got some rattles, buzzes, creaking, and more that are temperature-dependent. Though credit to my...
Thanks for sharing! I think it will be interesting to see how this car ages and how the experience holds up for owners over time.
The car has been a lot of fun for sure but also isn't without its faults (like any car though):
I unfortunately have some fairly consistent interior...
Yeah, I think you're right. I just hope the creaking isn't something that would be a concern longer-term though. I let the dealership know when my car was in for service and they didn't find anything wrong with suspension, etc. so I'm assuming it's just a quirk for now.
2024 model year ITS - I've got some buzzes, rattles, and creaks that vary depending on temperature.
In colder temps: buzzing from passenger side and around the infotainment screen at certain RPMs.
In warmer temps: Creaking from front driver's side while making harder turns or when going over...
Wow, I didn't know about this. Thanks for sharing the link!
Looks like moving to my winter set (235/40/18, XL load) means a drop of 2 PSI vs. what's on the door jamb would be appropriate. I'm curious to see how much of a difference this makes in terms of driving feel and handling.
11 months into ownership and no issues here either *knock on wood* but only at ~7500-7600 miles so far.
My appointment I scheduled to proactively address this got cancelled as parts are on backorder so I guess we'll see when this might actually be able to be taken care of.
Dang it. I'd been checking my VIN on the Acura owner's site the past couple days to see if there's open recalls on my car specifically and it hadn't been showing up, but I just checked this morning and there it was. Boo.
Here's a link if anyone wants to check their VIN...
Rev match always on for me. I briefly drove the car without rev-match though when I got the dreaded batch of errors/warnings though (included emissions, rev matching, cruise control, etc.; that was all later fixed via software update) and the car was fine to drive without it. I think the rev...
Yeah, I believe it's dealer only. Root cause issue for my car may be different than others, but I believe this is the TSB for the issue that my car had, at least: http://www.urvi.net/forumfiles/SB/B24-026.PDF
Edit: Here's the thread covering the issue I had in the Type S subforum (someone else...
Of all the cars I've had, the ITS has gotten the most attention, by far. I can't say how it compares to the FL5 though.
I've had a few people give me a thumbs up on at least two occasions, people have complimented the car while at a stoplight.
I think the various visual touches of the ITS...
Oil and coolant? That's interesting... I was spoiled by BMW as the last one I had featured a dedicated oil temp gauge so I could know when the engine and fluids were fully up to temp.
If the Integra's gauge only hits 4 bars after coolant and oil are up to 170F+ then that makes me feel better...
Posting an update here should others have this issue and find this thread, but here's the Acura technical service bulletin for this issue: http://www.urvi.net/forumfiles/SB/B24-026.PDF
The wireless charging pad is awful, at least for iPhones. I've never gotten it to work consistently so I gave up haha. I don't think this is unique to the Integra either as I recall reading the same complaints from owners of other Acura models with wireless charging pads in other forums too...
Yeah, I'm really impressed by these tires. This is the first car where I've decided to actually keep and run the summer performance tires instead of swapping to all seasons and the difference in performance in warm weather is much more noticeable than I thought it would be (in a good way)!
My...
Well, the tires that first came in to replace the damaged ones were the off the shelf variants and I let my overthinking get the best of me so I asked to get the OEM PS4Ses. Part of me was also very curious to see what these differences I'd only read about were, but I admittedly wanted to have...
A minority of owners (including me) have had sudden warnings come up for emissions, cruise control assist, rev matching, and a couple other things for seemingly no reason. The car might also go into limp mode if this occurs. Here's a thread on that...
Yeah, looks like OEM has 9.2" width and 9/32" depth while off the shelf is 9.6" and 9.5/32" depth...
I guess I'll see what the techs/staff at Discount Tire say. Those differences seem immaterially small though, especially as long as the tires on each axle match.
OCD part of me would rather...
That's what I figured. I'm nowhere near being a Formula 1 driver and I don't expect to notice a difference either, even if I were to go to a track.
I found a couple other threads from other enthusiast forums who have done the same thing with mixing different specs of the PS4S and their...
