  1. Adjust TPMS range

Wow, I didn't know about this. Thanks for sharing the link! Looks like moving to my winter set (235/40/18, XL load) means a drop of 2 PSI vs. what's on the door jamb would be appropriate. I'm curious to see how much of a difference this makes in terms of driving feel and handling.
  2. EPS GEARBOX ISSUE

11 months into ownership and no issues here either *knock on wood* but only at ~7500-7600 miles so far. My appointment I scheduled to proactively address this got cancelled as parts are on backorder so I guess we'll see when this might actually be able to be taken care of.
  3. EPS GEARBOX ISSUE

Dang it. I'd been checking my VIN on the Acura owner's site the past couple days to see if there's open recalls on my car specifically and it hadn't been showing up, but I just checked this morning and there it was. Boo. Here's a link if anyone wants to check their VIN...
  4. Poll: 6MT owners, do you use Auto Rev Match?

Rev match always on for me. I briefly drove the car without rev-match though when I got the dreaded batch of errors/warnings though (included emissions, rev matching, cruise control, etc.; that was all later fixed via software update) and the car was fine to drive without it. I think the rev...
  5. Integra Emissions System Problem

Yeah, I believe it's dealer only. Root cause issue for my car may be different than others, but I believe this is the TSB for the issue that my car had, at least: http://www.urvi.net/forumfiles/SB/B24-026.PDF Edit: Here's the thread covering the issue I had in the Type S subforum (someone else...
  6. Integra Emissions System Problem

No mods on my car and this issue hasn't come back ever since the software fix was applied.
  7. Type S gets more attention than Type R : Yes or No?

Of all the cars I've had, the ITS has gotten the most attention, by far. I can't say how it compares to the FL5 though. I've had a few people give me a thumbs up on at least two occasions, people have complimented the car while at a stoplight. I think the various visual touches of the ITS...
  8. Coolant temp sensor real?

Oil and coolant? That's interesting... I was spoiled by BMW as the last one I had featured a dedicated oil temp gauge so I could know when the engine and fluids were fully up to temp. If the Integra's gauge only hits 4 bars after coolant and oil are up to 170F+ then that makes me feel better...
  9. CEL under @ 900 Miles

Posting an update here should others have this issue and find this thread, but here's the Acura technical service bulletin for this issue: http://www.urvi.net/forumfiles/SB/B24-026.PDF
  10. Phone Charger always stops working

The wireless charging pad is awful, at least for iPhones. I've never gotten it to work consistently so I gave up haha. I don't think this is unique to the Integra either as I recall reading the same complaints from owners of other Acura models with wireless charging pads in other forums too...
  11. Michelin PS4S or wheel bearing noise?

Yeah, I'm really impressed by these tires. This is the first car where I've decided to actually keep and run the summer performance tires instead of swapping to all seasons and the difference in performance in warm weather is much more noticeable than I thought it would be (in a good way)! My...
  12. Michelin PS4S or wheel bearing noise?

Well, the tires that first came in to replace the damaged ones were the off the shelf variants and I let my overthinking get the best of me so I asked to get the OEM PS4Ses. Part of me was also very curious to see what these differences I'd only read about were, but I admittedly wanted to have...
  13. I am looking to buy a Type S what are somethings to watch for

A minority of owners (including me) have had sudden warnings come up for emissions, cruise control assist, rev matching, and a couple other things for seemingly no reason. The car might also go into limp mode if this occurs. Here's a thread on that...
  14. Michelin PS4S or wheel bearing noise?

Yeah, looks like OEM has 9.2" width and 9/32" depth while off the shelf is 9.6" and 9.5/32" depth... I guess I'll see what the techs/staff at Discount Tire say. Those differences seem immaterially small though, especially as long as the tires on each axle match. OCD part of me would rather...
  15. Michelin PS4S or wheel bearing noise?

That's what I figured. I'm nowhere near being a Formula 1 driver and I don't expect to notice a difference either, even if I were to go to a track. I found a couple other threads from other enthusiast forums who have done the same thing with mixing different specs of the PS4S and their...
  16. Michelin PS4S or wheel bearing noise?

Well, the saga continues: I kept getting the nagging feeling that there was damage the dealership couldn't see because there seemed to be noises that just didn't seem right coming from the side of the car that hit the pothole. I took the car to Discount Tire and had them go so far as to remove...
  17. Michelin PS4S or wheel bearing noise?

Thanks! I agree that people should be confident in the professionals they work with and that they need to make sure they’re trustworthy. I figured the dealership would generally be incentivized to sell me on repairs and replacement parts if they could, so if they say the car’s good, then it...
  18. Michelin PS4S or wheel bearing noise?

Dealer looked at everything this morning and the verdict is: I was just being paranoid. Bearings, tires, suspension components, etc., all looked good. Tires are just loud and the short sidewalls and wide tread contribute to that too. I'll just need to get used to the noise from these tires and...
  19. Michelin PS4S or wheel bearing noise?

Thanks for the tip! I tried and didn't notice much change, if any, in noise. I agree that it's hard to say without hearing it. I don't think I can get a good recording either based on my experience trying to get similar sounds in recordings, unfortunately. I scheduled an appointment at one of...
  20. Michelin PS4S or wheel bearing noise?

Well, it happened: I hit a pothole at highway speeds. Short sidewalls + relatively stiff suspension = loud thud. I immediately switched to the tire pressure gauge and thankfully saw no drops in tire pressure since then beyond what's normal with temperature fluctuations and the car sitting...
