Special thanks to kjechel. Thanks for putting the writeup for this together. Followed all the steps, ordered all the parts. All in it’s less than $300 and fits in the rear flat. Much appreciated! My only observations and advice was that for the drill I followed the instructions and torqued the...
I had the recall done today as well. I got my letter it says NHTSA recall 24V-744
Acura campaign Number VJV
Service Bulletin 24-054
Under recall for improperly manufactured electronic power steering EPS gearbox worm wheel and improperly set worm gear spring. Friction between worm wheel and worm...
Thanks this helped. I bought car august 2023 and now july 2024 at 1419 miles it says i’m at 15 pct oil life. I figured since I’m coming up on a year
I also drive a 2015 subaru wrx with no brake shields because I run an ap racing bbk with larger rotors and the shield has to be removed to fit. In 5 years time I haven’t had any issue with rotors or pads or brakes as a result. Probably more dust and rust though. But everything functions fine...
agree that luckily doesnt look too bad. you could polish that and would be less noticeable. you can buy an orbital polisher online, i have one from griots garage, and then you wash the car, even clay bar that area. then use mequiars cutting 105 ultra cut polish first with a rougher style cutting...
I get the original f106, I bought it but haven’t installed it yet. I will do a writeup when that time comes.
here is the link
Fumoto Original F-106 with LC-10 Lever Clip F-Series Engine Oil Drain Valve, 1 Pack, Gold https://a.co/d/cR99wIM
I do my own oil changes and I prefer my fumoto valve for the ease and I don’t have to worry about the crush washer or over torquing the drain bolt. fumoto f106 m14 makes it faster for me. I will take pics when I reach the miles to change it.

welcome aboard! post some pictures when it arrives and enjoy it. I most certainly do just hit 500 miles and went wot 1st,2nd, but then realized I was still in sport mode. more fun to experience ahead
I have an evo and a wrx all of my cars have hood vents scoops, weird thing in common, never had an issue on the touchless washes, but i’d recommend bring a towel and after the wash just wipe off the engine cover to dry it.
So to clarify if you have two sets of wheels and have tpms on both- when you program the car for the new sensors does it unlearn the factory ones such that you have to reprogram them everytime you switch wheels?
