With the windows closed it is not all that noticeable. Windows open you get some nice but not overbearing turbo and blow off sound. It is really nice overall. Especially as I plan on keeping the exhaust stock.

It is indeed transmission fluid. A spring that holds the axle seal likely broke when the axle came out during the spring installation. Make sure no pieces made their way into the trans. It is a cheap part. It makes a mess if you've been driving, so just be careful and clean best you can- it...

Figured I would share this here too- H&Rs installed, really happy with them so far. Ride is slightly firmer but largely behaves like stock.
