I've had three unwanted noisemakers in five months now, all in the front. The first one was only a few weeks after getting the car and I too was really freaked out by it.
The last one (last week) was insanely loud and apparently really lodged in there.
It had me looking like some wannabe...
I had two deposits down and a third large deposit that dealer was supposed to take and just never got around to it (they did sell me the car though) :)
Had no issues getting the two back, but made sure that they said refundable.
I had noticed this could get pretty bad last week.
Now the question is - do I just RainX it, go out and measure the stupid thing and model that piece and print it myself or be lazy and spend $14.. 😄
Novus #2 and #3 are scratch remover and restoration products which contain different levels of abrasive. I've used them many times in the past to restore scratch/scuffed plastics, and at some point in the future may use them on the console if it accumulates enough scratches.
#1 is an acrylic...
