Having now just looked at the multiple steps necessary to make this technical repair as shown on Acura TSB dated 07/25/24, #24-037, I wish Acura had alternatively opted to supply rebuilt units.

Yesterday lost Car Play which I thought might be due to being out of cell service area. Rebooted IPhone 15, restarted car, reconnected via Bluetooth. Car now displayed East Coast time (am in California). Will now go in search of automatic setting, thanks.

As to the opinion of probably the oldest member of this forum, (don't ask), on shopping the Type R versus the Type S, I preferred the shorter body design of the Type R but the seating did not work for me. Now I drive a Type S the one hour in comfort to go see my grandkids. :)
