Honestly I think it'll fit fine, there are a few guys that have installed the PRL inlet and HVI with the standard silicone coupler. In fact the box for my HVI doesnt even specify which coupler it came with, I just mentioned it in my previous post to be 100% safe lol.
They'll mate up just fine as long as you have the HVI that comes with the silicone fitting for the PRL titanium inlet, im not sure if it'll work the the standard silicone fitting. If you intend on tuning the only real difference you'll see with hybrid setups is in your wallet.
I should probably clarify, im not affiliated, but based on their site it says "if you change your setup" so I assume they mean per setup revision, IE, you go from stock intake to high velocity, or stock down pipe to high flow. I don't know whether they'd charge you to make a revision as simple...
Yes, no worries just wanted to clarify before you sent a blank ECU out. I 100% agree with you regarding the shipping anxiety, if your ECU is lost you basically have a $50k paperweight, im not sure what the dealership options are for having a replacement ECU paired.
2 hours honestly isn't that...
You would need to ship both ECUs if you intend to clone.
The ECU you currently have installed is paired to your vehicle, the new ECU you purchase will not be.
The cloning process would allow the tuner to duplicate your ECU as a bone stock secondary, and unlock the other ECU for tuning etc...
Quick question, I noticed there were only 91 octane tunes that listed mods, Im currently flashed on the 91 dp with intercooler tune (I have a HVI, turbo inlet, dp/fp, intercooler and charge pipes installed). Is this the ideal tune for my listed mods or should I be running the 93 tune if I have...
AFAIK you would need the top and bottom of the Aspec rear seats for full safety. I believe the middle seat belt is built into the upper/seatbacks and also reinforced so they do weigh more than stock ITS rears. You'd also need the double buckle portion which should come with the bottoms. Don't...
Yeah in my case its the RV6, there are plenty of owners on the forum that run the TSP catted without any issues.
I jumped the gun on the RV6 as it was readily available on hand vs 3ish month wait on the TSP. Im getting tuned so its a non issue in the long run, but even with my defouler...
You might be able to, but the charge pipe inner diameter on the cold side is slightly larger and when i tried it seemed a bit too loose for my liking so I held off until I got the intercooler.
Are you selling your pipes and intercooler? Saw an FS post. The cold side charge pipe won't fit on the intercooler side. The new prl intercooler cold side fitting had a larger OD.
Yeah i wish he'd shown some closeups, but at a glance his tolerances do look tighter than StingertimeNC's pics. Integra23 says he's only got an 1/8th of an inch gap which id say is acceptable.
Not sure if this is someone on the forum, but his fitment seems better than most. So theres definitely something wrong with artworks manufacturing process.
Make your life easier, remove the sensor, cut the plastic tab that was originally holding the sensor, drill a new hole and relocate.
You'll have a harder time lining the flanges up on either side if you just try to leave the sensor where it is and smash the intercooler against it. More of a...
Damn, I havent been on FB in years lol, guess I'll need to get on that, appreciate the link!
I havent seen a single TEP or ABP in the wild, but Ive seen at least one of every other colour.
Yes!!! Man im hoping they get enough interest to make this happen because I def dont wanna mail my ECU out lmao.
Man you may be the only TEP in the GTA,🔥🔥🔥. Cute pup is it a miniature collie or like a pembroke welsh corgi?
