Same. Never had a white car before and I regret the color choice, but they weren't widely available at the time so I compromised. I actually think there is something aerodynamically unique about this car that sucks road spray up onto it. I don't think other white cars I see look nearly as...
My “lowest” was filling up 11.36 gallons. I go pretty low regularly; I’m annoyed at how small this tank is. My tsx would go 500+ on a tank; this car causes anxiety just trying to hit half of that. I think when indicated range hits 0 you have about 1.25-1.5 gallons left.
I too am annoyed that there is not a low/no cost option for an all season tire like Conti dws06+, as I definitely would have opted for it. I live in the Midwest, don't track my car and those would have been fine. But in buying the car I committed to the expense and hassle of getting dedicated...
I can't fathom how you live in Massachusetts and never went below 44 degrees. Do you mount winters in September and leave them on until May? Or is this a second car and you have something else for cold/bad weather?
I luve in Ohio and fall and spring are all over the place temperature-wise...
This is a great point I’d never thought about. I’m rarely on a 2 lane highway long enough to use CC, but if I am, I’ll swap back to ACC. Thanks for the tip!
This is funny to me. I don’t like adaptive cruise because it slows down right as I’m about to change lanes, lets people in ahead of me and then slows down, etc. I think I happened upon this maybe by accident soon after getting my ITS. My wife’s 2019 rdx is the family road trip vehicle and I...
Can anyone advise on removing the clip from under the console cover? I can remove the 2 plugs, but there is a clip between them holding the wiring harness to the cover that I couldn't immediately figure out where to release, and I didn't want to break the clip, so I stopped, but it'd be a lot...
Installed the raceseng nitro as inspired by @tallboi.
Unfortunately, my collar was not of the “just pull down hard” variety, so I had to pull off the shifter console, which isn’t a huge deal. I cracked the bottom ring of the collar prying it off but I don’t think it matters. The real fun came...
This is a great looking knob. How does the dimpled plastic feel? Substantial and nice, or cheap at all? Where'd you get it? Sold out on Raceseng site. Did you buy the collar adapter too or is that just the knob up against the trim ring of the shift boot? Thanks for the input.
Didn't know we had this. Early when I got the car I "looked" (felt?) for it but don't feel like I've ever experienced it. I'll have to try some more situations. Either way, I love brake hold.
I love brake hold. I know manual cars in last 10ish years had something maybe called hill hold but I never had it.
In this car it's brake hold, and you have to turn it on every time you start the car. It is a dedicated physical button so you don't have to dig through menus to get to it...
I chatted with Acura and they confirmed there's no way to do it, perhaps an update could come that would allow it.
On the bright side, it's a funny prank to pull on a Honda-owning friend right? Give them eternal presets they don't want? The gift that keeps on giving.
I had high hopes for the "Clear Data" approach but unfortunately it didn't seem to do anything. I've found other Honda forums complaining about the same issue. They mentioned that in some cases if enough people had complained to Honda it might have gotten fixed in some OTA update but I won't...
I can’t figure out how to delete a radio preset that I’ve added. A station changed format and I no longer want it to be a stop as I cycle through my presets. I can only see how to overwrite an existing preset with another station, but I don’t want to overwrite it, I just want to get rid of it...
I always suspected that the quickjack was a heavy hassle that was more trouble than it was worth. I imagine they are nice in some regards but they never looked easy to me.
The poors appreciate your resourcefulness.
I’ll add here, as in my younger days, I used wood under a jack to get higher, but in my case, it was a 2x4 or 2x6, not wide enough to be under the wheels of the jack. This was super dumb and dangerous, as the jack needs to roll inward as you jack up...
