I've kinda been on the fence about getting this. Then realizing if I do, I'll probably want the Alcantara armrest too, and so on and so on. :D Just curious, but what didn't you like about it or what made you change your mind?
Where in OC are you?
My car came with the OEM rubber mats, but I had TuxMats on my last car. The quality is miles above pretty much anything else (especially WeatherTech). Now I don't really care because it barely rains where I live now. Summer tires, carpet mats year round.
There's a couple good how-to's on YouTube. The main thing to remember when taking off the shift boot is to pull straight down on the ring/clamp and it will come off fairly easy. It tends to give a hard time and can break if you move it side to side while trying to pull it off (down).
Hey there. I'm not too far away in Anaheim. I come down to SD quite a bit (for friends and fun). I figured you must be in SD by the awful looking asphalt on your street. I'm always amazed at how that city neglects their streets. Might need a pothole damage fund on reserve. :p Welcome and enjoy...
I lived in the Sierra Nevada foothills with my last car which was an Audi S5 with fantastic AWD. I got caught in a little snow once when I still had summer tires on, and it's not so much the traction but the stopping/braking and stability that is affected with summer tires. If you are going to...
I always lease because of the flexibility. Any OEM/dealer accessories can be left on the vehicle at the end of the lease. Otherwise, as long as you return the vehicle to stock for everything else you modded you'll be fine.
Something else to keep in mind with a lease is that at the end of the...
I have the OEM Type S rubber mats. I had TuxMat in my last car. The OEM ones are just OK. Quality and coverage is better with TuxMats. Can definitely recommend them as a brand of quality and superior aesthetics, especially compared to WeatherTech.
I have one OEM 19" gray ITS wheel. I hit a pothole and the outer lip of the rim is bent (where the rubber meets the rim). There is a bend about 2" (will post photo if interested). It does not affect the tires ability to hold air, and I did not notice any handling issues when it was still...
The seatbelt reminder at startup used to drive me bonkers! I always would scroll so it went away. Once I realized it goes away after driving off, I learned to ignore it. But having the option disable it would be nice. We already have a nanny that is the startup chimes to remind us to put on our...
I'm gonna be purchasing these pads: https://www.ahcgarage.com/products/ebc-integra-type-s-fl5-civic-type-r-front-brake-pads-yellow-stuff
I want a little more bite for aggressive street driving, and these are supposed to be good for that.
