Very timely - just watched this video too and came to the same conclusion 😂 given how great this platform is, kind of silly to swap it for another car that serves a similar purpose for myself at least. You'll enjoy the intake - PRL HVI was the first thing I did and made it sound so much cooler.
Well put. The cushioning in the DE5 is very lackluster. I do 4+ hour road trips pretty frequently and its a pain in the ass. More bolstering would be nice but I'd take the cushioning over that for a street car. Bringing my partner along with me often so she can feel how miserable the seats are...
I echo this sentiment. I thought I wanted to add more power but took it for a spirited drive for the first time on some backroads and came to the conclusion that I don't actually want more power. It's a great platform. Ultimately, do what you want of course (don't listen to me either - I said I...
No issues with debris @gohan408 but whatever likes to sit between the seams where the splitter and sideskirt/bumper attaches. Pretty hard to force all the water out without forced air (leaf blower, compressed air, etc.)
It's been 300 miles, and turned on/off car for multiple trips at least 10 times this week 😅 I think I'll try disconnecting my battery again tomorrow and reconnecting. If that doesn't work, the tool @Tw1stedlog1k shared sounds promising. Harbor freight I'm sure has something also.
Not sure if this is the right spot, but saw a thread about losing pops and burbles after doing mods or OTS tunes.
I disconnected my ground before I pulled my front bumper off to install front splitter just to be safe. After I reinstalled, dash lit up like a christmas tree. P0560 and P068A...
First oil change at the dealership, steering recall, and Rsplitters aero installed this weekend. Super happy with how it looks. Only took pictures of the front but splitters installed all around. Had to remove this little aero piece on the inside of the front bumper but guess people remove it...
Wheels installed!!! Really happy with the moderate drop and OEM-plus set up. See below for before/after.

Sure did! Paid 100 over what a regular balance/install would cost at a tire shop but thought it was worth the convenience of transporting everything 😂
Thanks! No leakage issues (as of now). I was nervous about that also but the boot didn't tear and doesn't appear to have any damage... will...
Glad you got it sorted out. Totally agree - the seats seem to be an afterthought from factory. It's like it doesn't know if it wants to be sporty or luxury. Too far in between the middle of that spectrum making it mehhh. With how firm the seats are I wish they made the bolstering more aggressive.
Finally got around to installing H&R lowering springs, new tires mounted on set of ZE40s. Stay tuned for new stance/wheels pic! Only PRL RMM, Acuity stage 2 shift kit, and RSplitter's full splitter kit left to install. If I'm not Iazy, hopefully will do it next month lol.
