Went to HPDE event at road atlanta and car drove great. However my sway bar is making the clanking noise at low speeds over bumps. I'll get the car in the air soon to look at it...
Well my car has this disease too. I have the camshaft sensor code at 500 miles, car in limp mode and my ac compressor won’t turn on, weird. I’ll be going into dealer soon, rip.
So I purchased an ELM OBD2 Bluetooth and ran "Car Scanner" app to search all available sensors/metrics/logs and there is NOTHING my DE5 is displaying on oil temperature or pressure.
It is amazing that oil metrics are not even considered in the background in a turbocharged performance car...
This will be my first time with this car, so I won't have a before-and-after opinion, unfortunately.
I could install them quicker now, but getting the end links back into the lower control arms and lining up the holes is what was terrible. I had to use a two-jack method recommended by this...
I just installed mine. No rattles or clanks and I ordered them with the links. I'm using the middle setting. Headed to the track in a month...
Seems nice, but boy was it a pita to install.
I was planning a thermostatic oil cooler/heat exchanger from Hel, it is supposed to have two ports to allow adding a temp/pressure sensor. I wonder where the sensors come from and connect to?
Hi friends,
I recently installed an OBD2 display to show me temps, pressures, etc. The one thing I really wanted was Oil Temperature and pressure. The software engineer is willing to add to the code for an update, but the car is new, and not all the parameters are mapped yet on this device...
