Thanks!
I was able to find a post from Vivid Apex:
"18x8 Enkei Raijin (+42 offset) with 235/40/18 Vredestein Wintrac Pros. Looks great, but drives....exactly as you might expect a winter tire"...
Yea i did look through 15 pages of that on my phone, but most of the chat was about tire sizing vs wheel sizing. I did eventually find frenzals posts in that thread that drilled down, thanks for pointing that out!
Thanks so much man, so helpful.
I will def go 18x8 42-45et with the 235/40 tires.
Just to put my mind at ease, you had no issues with alignment/cambers with this setup over stock? I want to select a pain-free option, no additional fuss.
Thanks!
I'm very noob to all this, and I intend to keep my ITS as OEM as possible.
I live where it snows, and am wondering if 18x8.5 et35 wheels would fit on the ITS? I've been reading et needs to be 48+, but also seen the following "winter wheel packages" online...
So glad to hear its competent in the snow. Especially on those phat ass tires! I'm thinking of grabbing some narrower 18" for snow when I pick mine up.
May I ask, where in NA are you? I'm in Toronto Canada, I keep thinking to myself an AWD S3 or Golf R is the practical choice cuz of snow :(
I've been going back and forth with the color choice for a while now...MBP vs. LCM. I disqualified ABP due to already having a blue SQ5...but this thread has completely converted me over to ABP. Almost two decades ago, I went with a galaxy grey civic si due to having to wait for a vibrant fiji...
