One small correction. The black emblems donāt have the 2 posts. There wasnāt a specific āfront badgeā. I remember simply eyeballing it, and making sure it was centered with the back plate.
Let me know if you have any other questions. I installed basically all of the oem dealer installed accessories myself. More than happy to help with any questions you may have.
Yep putting on the new one just requires you to remove the adhesive backing and matching up the 2 posts on the new emblem into the 2 holes on the backing plate. Btw the backing plate has 2 screws holding it in place behind the grill, but the actual emblem does not. Itās not one gigantic piece...
My type s emblem did not have screws, only the front A did. It also did not have threads so I doubt the screws were missed. There are 2 posts that slide into 2 holes behind emblem onto the plate so you cannot use the traditional method of using fishing line all the way thru. I hit it with the...
I ordered a front lip from them more than 2 months ago and havenāt heard anything from them yet. They said it could take up to 2 months, but i figure Iāll give it a few more weeks until i reach out to them. They did specify not to contact them about status updates in the email confirmation
For rpmās I give it 3/4 throttle slow ramp up to about 5k a few times every drive. Iāve done this on every car. To me, it is important to do this to build enough pressure in the cylinders for the rings to seat properly. Iād like to add that most of my friends who babied their s2kās and...
No. But I can tell you the triple beam LEDās on my LC are way brighter and sharper cutoff than the jewel eye. Doesnāt mean the jewel eyes arenāt great, I have no issues with brightness or visibility. But the Lexus triple beam is also way better.
I know this is an old thread, but i just noticed this as well. i can't hear it usually on the road, but can hear it when i get into my parking garage. front left wheel, turning right. i'll have the dealership check it out in about 1k miles when i get my oil changed.
Removing the shifter surround trim is going to be your best bet. I tried the pull down method and it did not work for me. Since I was able to remove it properly I saved it in case I want to back to stock in the future. Look into the acuity collar. I did this so I can swap out to different knobs...
Yep agree. I did the math on it and bumping it to $1500 made a big difference short and long term for me. Either way my premiums suck because I have 4 cars
Mine is about 150/month for full coverage, and 1500 deductible. I figure if something happens I have no issues shelling out $1500. I was doing the $250 deductible for a while and the premiums were insane.
Only the fronts have brembo calipers. The rears are likely the same as the aspec and lower trims. I donāt think they need to be, the car stops very well. What Honda/acura doesnāt advertise is that the cars induce inside wheel braking on the rears to help with turns. Took me a while to figure...
