So thanks to a 4Runner group member on FB I was notified before I went to installer that Method Racing Wheels is sending the wrong size lug nuts with any 6th Gen 4Runner wheel orders. I was a bit skeptical so I removed one and tried to screw on a new one and bingo too small. Apparently Toyota changed the size late in the release and it is now 14x1.5 instead of 12x1.5.i wanted to throw this out there since method wheels have been very well received by many 4Runner owners throughout the years.

and also pay attention to etc hub bore size, as the new 6th have a smaller bore size, so many wheels will require, or should use a hub centric ring.

I hope they get this issue fixed on their website. Not sure why they didn't get the memo?

1. sticky thread already had the correct info

https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/thr...-bore-sizes-brands-2025-4runner-6th-gen.1962/

from what i remember toyota made all the new BoF vehicles the same as far as wheels go now.

tundra, sequoia, 4R, taco

Bolt Pattern: 6-139.7
Lug Nut Size: 14x1.5
Hub Bore / Center Bore: 95.1

only diff i can see is that the offset varies slightly between models.
Referring to Methods Racing Wheels site. When you order wheels they make you search by vehicle and when you add lug nuts they give you 12x1.5

unfortunately thats a fault of method website, but the shop/distributor should have double checked. i know when i ordered my fuels for our 23 tundra, the shop double checked and had the fuel distributor resend the correct hub centric rings since the one that came with the wheels originally were the wrong size, i think they sent the 2nd gen tundra size (110) instead of the new 95 size.

Method was quick to respond and is fast tracking me a new set. So hopefully we will have this set up in a few days and I’ll post some pics.

Any wheel experts on here that can verify this but I called Method because I was showing 106.25mm Center bore on the wheels I received I spoke with the manager he said there wheels are lug centric and this wont matter. I am not a wheel expert beyond sizes and offsets/back spacing so I hope hes right.

I don't know all that much either but I bought these to go with the Method 703's I plan on getting when my 4runner comes in.

But thanks for this post, because I checked an I have the wrong size lugs as well so they are sending me the correct set.

I was wondering why the shop got Gorilla lugs when putting on my Methods. This could be it.
