I don't like the way stock wheels/tires look so tucked in. Not ready to purchase new set of wheels yet (too expensive), so I bought a set of wheel spacers to bring the wheels/tires flush with the fender. Want to share the pics and data points with the community.
- Front: 20mm (BONOSS Forged Active Cooling Hubcentric Wheel Spacers)
- Rear: 25mm (PRL Honda Civic Type-R 5x120 Wheel Spacer Kit)
The stock whee's offset is +60mm, so with the spacers, the effective offsets are:
- Front: +40mm
- Rear: +35mm
Has been running this set up for over a week now, NO RUBBING
Initially I was doing 15mm front and 20mm rear, but still not quite flush, so I ended up purchase a new set of 25mm spacers for the rear, and re-used the 20mm spacers for the front.
