Having a Civic Hatch ST now and kinda bored by the '22 Civic hatch, the A-Spec/Tech trim is exactly what I'd want to spend my money on.

Quick backstory: I've got an FK7 ST and thought about taking advantage of the insane market for used cars by selling mine for almost as much as I paid, and then turning around to buy a new one for a pittance. But Civic hatch availability kinda sucks, and dealer markups are still stupid. So I started thinking, hmm, if I'm going to be forced to spend over $40k for a new car, why should I get another Civic and still not even get lumbar support? That's why I'm looking a lot closer at Acura (finally), and although I'd like to splurge on a TLX, I still want the hatch bodystyle. That's all I've owned since 1990.
This is understandable. I to almost traded in my X2 for a TLX A-Spec but didn’t do it because BMW made it to where you can’t sell your lease at Carmax, Carvanna or any other manufacturer dealerships. Since that was the case I just waited until Integra came out and place a reservation on an A-Spec tech. Of course my primary thing is that I plan on getting the Type S version because that’s the true model that I want but I can’t wait until fall of this year for it.

Just curious - what color combo did you pre-order?

Liquid Carbon with Red. Was planning on Blue but didn’t want Orchid Interior because I felt that was going to get dirty quickly.

I commend you for sticking with the X2. I used to be the BIGGEST BMW stan. My first car was a 1990 325is back in 2000. I've had so many BMW's but over the years they've kinda let me down (moving from 4 to 3 years on the service, no longer able to sell the car and CPO it unless to BMW, etc...) My last car was a 2017 320i and I loved that it was a 180HP RWD but still gave 25MPG.

I may go the same route, add a couple dealer options, drive it for a couple years and if the Type S is substantially better, trade it in for a Type S. If the Type S has a DCT and over 250HP, I think it would be worth the upgrade - all things considered.

The fun part is all we have to do is wait for the Civic Type R info to see what kind of Type S we would be getting! LOL

So is there any accessories you guys/girls might get for the Integra? I’m thinking of getting the Side Sills, Rear Spoiler Duck Bill, Diffuser, Carbon Side mirrors? And the illuminated Acura logo.
CF spoiler and rear diffuser for sure. Maybe the carbon side mirrors.

I love my X2 don’t get me wrong. 306 HP since mine was the 19 MY, AWD with Limited slip diff upfront big M Sport brakes, But I barely have any safety features. Small 6inch touchscreen luckily has Apple CarPlay. I really wanted something more reliable and wanted to go back to an automobile that’s from an Asian brand.

As for Type S, I recently heard a little good info that it will have its own tune to the 2.0T. It’s 50/50 on it being offered with both 6 Speed or an auto version. I still suspect A-Spec tech will start at around $33.5k and the Type S at $37k. Type S will more then likely get everything from the Tech and then add upon it like 2.0T with Type S tuned transmission, 4 piston Brembo Brakes up front, Sportier seats probably even real leather etc.

I’m not sure if I want the Carbon Side mirrors but I do agree the rear diffuser and Spoiler are a must.

I think the standard black ones look good and sporty enough to not switch over plus we know how Carbon Fiber parts cost more.

I think 19's look better but most people go 18s because the tires are cheaper.

I’m sure that the Type S version will get 19’s with hopefully Michelin Pilot Sport 4s. They could even offer a light weight package like TLX S.

This is what I am holding out for. At this point I am not sure what to expect from the Type S. I am hoping they release at lease the specs this year so I can finally decide between it and the Type R.

They will release the specs this year and the model. The reason why they didn’t unveil it alongside the base Integra was to give the base more light and pre orders (of course this is what I suspect I could be wrong) or since the Type R will be revealed this Spring it could be that they wanted the R to have its own spot light and given that the R won’t come with an Auto I can see that affecting in some way the R.

I was looking at the Brembo brakes on the concept and realized something.
MDX concept had the front brake set up taken straight out of a Type S, so they might have done the same thing for the Integra concept, too.
The wheels on the concept are painted A spec wheels, right? And That's 5X114.3.
Honda/Acura use 5x120 wheels on higher performance cars with 300+hp.
