Agree full stop. The phone call left a bad taste in my mouth. I think he was trying to justify why they "might" add an ADM.
The base integra is 100% a Civic EX-L. The integra A spec is the civic touring +

Just passing on what I was told. clearly this dealer didn't have much info to pass.
Yeah no they seem to be doing ADM for the Integra without the price being unveiled. I figured some will do it sadly. Hope no one on here or anyone falls for that trap.

I'm fine paying the $300-400 for tint plus added accessories but like I told the dealer, don't charge me more just to charge me more. Give me value added to pay for the car or I'll just walk away. I don't honestly foresee it being mainstream on the integra at first because I don't think they want a ton of canceled reservations. Maybe I am wrong

Maybe so on the cancellations but still I think that’s not being transparent with customers who have reservations at that dealership. What that will do is cause frustration for the consumer and make it possible where they won’t buy the because it left a bad taste in their mouths from that experience. I also understand the tinted windows part.

I was looking at the shut off sequence on the digital display and I have to say Acura did a good job at Hiding the Type S this time around. For both TLX and MDX base models when they came out to the public, Acura had the model of the Type S version in the shutdown part compared to a base model. So it seems Acura is really hiding the identity of the Type S model.
Or does it just not exist ?

So it's funny. Another Acura dealer just called me, one I didn't do a reservation with. Sales Person said they don't expect the integra for 4-5 months (saying there are in fact delays). He said they cannot see the reservations until Corporate sends it to them (takes a few days) and that they haven't gotten many reservations (they are the largest Acura Dealer on the West Coast)
I pressed him about ADM and he couldn't confirm that they wouldn't tack on (they tack on 3K on current MDX's) but told me they don't charge extra for the ILX's they have on the lot (I wonder why)
I asked about a firm MSRP and he said while they don't have it, they feel it'll be closer to mid 30's for the base. So clearly I ended the conversation there.

I am feeling the car market will slow down - I think the business model of ordering cars from dealers based on incoming cars will become the standard for the foreseeable future. Once the integra starts rolling off the assemblyline I forsee a honda civic type of purchase process. If you don't have one, you will be able to reserve on inbound or put an order in and have a dealer allocate it.

He didn't seem to have a ton of information, it was a courtesy call. I think I'm going to hold my current PENSKE reservation and see what happens.
Guy sounds like he’s clueless. My dealer saw my reservation immediately. He read me my res number before I even had the email confirmation. The base is in no way going to be mid 30’s unless he’s factoring in their ADM. Which is insane. Out of the 2 Acura dealers near me, one only marks up type s’ plus has a dealer package add on and the other doesn’t mark up any or have a package.

I’d stick with your other reservation simply because of the lack of knowledge that the sales guy showed. Remember, most sales guys, especially at car dealerships generally have no clue what they’re talking about. They BS their way through everything. And they never pay attention to emails or memos or trainings. I wouldn’t want to buy from someone like that.

Wait a sec. Maxes out under 40???! That implies the aspec tech will be 39999. Why not say around 35? Acura told Redline Reviews it’d max in the mid 30’s.

When he’s turning the ac knobs I like the almost sparkly dots on that gray dash trim. Looks nice.

If the tech is 35, your out the door without any accessories will be around 37-38. Remember the sticker price includes destination. So all that’s added is taxes and fees.

The post saying it maxes out isn’t meaning out the door. That means highest sticker price. So it’s concerning if it’s “under 40”. No one is paying a sticker of 38+ for a tech integra. That’s almost the sticker of the type r.

lol I’m talking taxes and plates. Its a rough number.
35 plus about 1k in dealer accessories. Our amazing AZ sales tax and plates should be around $39,900

I think the guy who posted this got it Wrong. Andrew mentioned on Twitter to someone saying “we never said it would max out at 40k” or something along those lines
