  1. 10k mile club!

I'm almost at 10k, picked up in April, had it only been 5 months?
  2. Any new Exhaust's in the works ?

Speaking of Invidia, just saw the boys over at the FL5 forums announce a new option. Checked out a few fk8 videos for reference and the volume and tone sound pretty good for street use.
  3. Now?

    Pop the cork!
  4. New Apex Blue Type S Owner

Love seeing this color, welcome to the team! I almost forgot what the wheels look like under all the brake dust lol.
  5. New Type S Owner!

Welcome to the club! A question for you as a '25 owner, do you have passenger's side reverse mirror tilt?
  6. QuickJack Question

The QJ is a pain in the ass to setup as-is, sounds like I'm never getting under the car again unless I go back to stock height lol.
  7. QuickJack Question

Bringing this thread back up to the top. I have the shorter 5000TL and have been using the frame extenders to get under the ITS for lifting. I can just barely able to get the blocks to fit under the car with that setup at stock heigh. Now that the car is lowered it's impossible to get the...
  8. Any new Exhaust's in the works ?

I agree, I came into this platform expecting a $1200 system so there was a bit of sticker shock when pricing was released for the new systems. My brother just picked up an Invidia system for his Z for roughly half the price of my MBRP. Fully polished, perfect fit, and even came with a spring...
  9. Any new Exhaust's in the works ?

Absolutely a valid concern. For what it's worth, MBRP is under $2k from our friends at @Unity Performance. It ships for free and no sales tax stateside. There is a burnt tip option (though not titanium) and if you want polished, rolled tips it's another $240 or so for a set.
  10. Any new Exhaust's in the works ?

You know I was thinking, what's really stopping anyone from buying a FL5 exhaust and just extending the tips a few inches? They all have the same mounting points so technically our list of options is longer than it actually is.
  11. Any new Exhaust's in the works ?

Though there aren't many yet, I've lost track of all the options for our platform. What are you looking for in terms of volume?
  12. Jester’s Tuning thread

OK I made it to page 9 on the FL5 forums before I gave up lol. Mainly because I felt the content started to get detailed and was beyond the scope of what I'm looking for out of the car. I have a spare ECU and plan on cloning, unlocking, and loading the tune to the spare. My primary goals are...
  13. Jester’s Tuning thread

Alrighty, I'm officially in the running for a tune. Now to read through a few pages of posts and catch up...
  14. Apex Blue ITS in Charlotte

Best color. Also my unbiased opinion.
  15. Poll: 6MT owners, do you use Auto Rev Match?

I've come back to reconsider my position. Been driving with auto rev match off for the past 2 weeks and can conclusively say it's a better driving experience for me. Revs drop quicker and the clutch line mods I've done have a more pronounced, direct effect. I'm able to modulate the pedal better...
  16. Heavy Metal Rattle - Off Throttle >4k RPMs

Sounds like wastegate rattle but yours is especially loud! Time to book an appointment with your dealer?
  17. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

It gets..."rowdy" with exhaust mods, I feel even a mild system would accentuate the pops. A Harley rode past me today and though it was just one loud *POP* from his exhaust, it was definitely a little jarring. I imagine this is what our cars sound like when opened up. I love it but I use...
  18. Replacement headlight.....Acura...WTF?

Insurance or pay out of pocket is really your best bet. You could probably buy a used unit and spend an afternoon replacing it for about what your insurance deductible is. I recommend PPF for headlights also!
  19. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

It's crazy how minor exhaust mods really wake up the pops and bangs. It's a whole other level. I wonder if they anticipated owners would mod their exhausts when they engineered the pops
