I've had the same issue with lowering springs in the past. I know coilovers are harder with this platform because of the adaptive dampers....but a good set of coilovers would ride better than stock anyway with the nice lowered ride height. The aftermarket will still take some time to make the...
The annoyed service person I talked to today said my car should be done by lunch tomorrow. They'll continue to be annoyed.
Times they've called to update me: 0
Times I've called them(and spoken to somebody): 4
Total days at dealer: 7
Factory reset the car's infotainment. It's an option in the settings menu. There's another thread on here that saved me a ton of headache when my car did this on day 3 of ownership.
It's an Acura problem, not a Google problem.
Hopefully it's the same for both of us. I'll at least have some info soon as they said the module was 2-3 days for me. Being SW Ohio I'm assuming I'm on the low end for parts receipt with the Marysville plant.
Hopefully your dealer knows more than mine. It appears as though my situation is the first being fed back to Acura at the moment. New brake control module. No Bueno. New parking sensor control module? We'll see the results before the weekend!
They don't know the problem and are throwing...
Not the actual acura press release but here is an example https://www.columbiaacura.com/performance-features-of-the-2023-acura-integra/
"Sport Mode creates a dynamic driving experience with sport-focused throttle and steering settings and heightened engine sounds."
There was an acura press release that stated sport mode had pumped in noise.
Personally, I don't like sport mode. No more power, no real change other than an accelerated throttle pedal response, I prefer normal. My question is if there is pumped in noise in normal mode as it feels the most...
Wow 23lbs for the tire alone is crazy. I don't think I ever felt an 18" tire that heavy back when I was a tech. Sure truck tires and the big rim tires but not a 235/40R18 or anything close. If it was a 65 aspect ratio maybe.
R&D costs money. Your SH-AWD integra does not justify the R&D necessary. Despite the number of enthusiasts wanting it; the market is not there. Number crunches always win. Thank the great bejeebus we got a manual transmission at all.
RDX update:
While driving home from work the infotainment screen left the chat. Music kept playing with no screen. Power cycling the vehicle brought it back. Really getting concerned with Acura electronics now...
Just got off the phone with the dealer. We are now waiting for a "parking sensor control unit" to arrive in 2-3 days. No commitment from the dealer on if that would actually fix the car or not, just that they "believe that to be the fix."
There have been plenty of quotes (even in this thread) regarding that subject. The platform is not made for it. Current Integra platform is fwd as is the Civic platform its based on.
Definitely different from mine. I didn't have any SONAR warnings.
Funny you mention the loaner. I didn't request one. As soon as I showed up they were throwing the paperwork at me for one. Maybe they're hoping to offload some RDX? They had 2 ready to go in service when I showed up.
INTEGRA...
The steering in comfort and normal is too numb. There is no weight to it and no feedback. There is more precision to the steering than, say a full size truck, but it is no better than the wife's '21 Acadia that we got new for 20% less than the MSRP on the RDX. I havent pushed the vehicle...
