so I finally looked into what they call a constant power cable is. The Time settings are just as you mentioned.
I would opt for the one that goes straight to the battery/fuse box. Just because OBD has so many circuits and ECU running thorough it, so your adapter can glitch and get confused...
For this retractable plate holder, I placed the controller inside the engine bay and wired directly to the batteries. Though, there are fuses in the engine to tap into if you want the protection. I wanted constant power incase I forget and can just display the plates as I walk away.
Edit: Hmm...
No quality issues for me. Some minor rattles which I either remedied myself or have gone away.
Performance wise, the mechanical build is superior. One common issue, however, is some drivers have leaking coolant tank reservoirs. This is easily replaced under warranty.
Update:
This article claims that 1,871 Integra Type S have been sold to date:
https://www.motor1.com/news/705054/2023-honda-civic-type-r-sales/
"Honda didn't list sales figures in its 2023 report, we reached out and got the numbers. A Honda spokesperson tells us it sold 3,345 examples of the...
You're not wrong on this. I chose CQuartz solely because it seems to last the longest. After research, the challenge with this brand is nailing down the 'flashpoint' before wiping/buff towels.
The flashpoint has to be very precise, UK 3.0 is about 5 minutes and SiC 7-8 minutes but also...
The "IntegrA" inlay wasn't my idea lol. I can't take credit for it. I saw it on the A-Spec drivers, so the shop that did my PPF custom cut them for me. However, you'll want to ceramic over the letters to prevent lifting. Seal it in.
I'll upload videos of my car soon. Haven't had time. Just note...
The real problem i have is I drop off my sister at high school everyday and she slams the hatch down it irks me every time. She says it's too heavy lmao
It’s sourced from this same manufacturers LongyeAuto and ZJCGO. It appears to work for 11th gen hatchbacks.
however I’ll be trying the stronger struts and automatically release to open the hatch. If you want the automatic close, buttons and kick to open these are the kits
For the crowd who believes 0-60 times is everything, they have no idea what they're missing out on in the Integra Type S. Glad Road&Track recognize the greatness
I’m on 275/35R19 veredestein wintrac pro. This gives me over an inch of clearance during winter season. Thus far I’ve driven through three heavy snowstorms and no issues at all. Car climbs and maneuvers well while the 5” clearance is just enough.
This is interesting, FL5 hatch must be substantially heavier. I’m curious how opening the hatch felt, did it pop right up? Also, was closing extremely hard? The original struts make me feel like the hatch slams down too hard every time so I definitely will still be upgrading .
two very awakened people. Rough times ahead with lots of big changes but also Opportunities coming to be had.
that said I don’t regret purchasing the ITS early. Love every moment with it, not the fastest straight line car but absolutely the most fun car I’ve ever had.
CQuartz UK 3.0 + CQuartz SiC top later for me on the paint portions.
cQuartz SKIN + SiC on ppf for me.
GTechniq clear vision for windshield and gtechniq wheel ceramic for the rims
six months in and ceramic is still amazing. Rain and snow slides right off.Very easy to Wash and maintain.
No need for photoshop. I requested for a paint match of the center plate front lip. They did a tremendous job. This deviated from the entirely gloss black option. there’s also a matte black option if you choose.
however, APB carbon fiber looks quite good as well. All about your own preference.
id like the ability to modify the head unit as well, but we need the vendor keys from Mitsubishi. For now we’d have to run a separate android processor in a box to sort of port it over
