I think we all have the same idea. TI Inlet, HVI, HPS Charge Pipes, and Acuity Shift Linkage bushings all going in together! Also taking a "sick day" for it :)
Anyone getting any squeaking from the H&Rs? It's nothing major, normally it's when I do a quick stop in the rain, like stopping when exiting a driveway. I assumed it was just the progressive springs rubbing, but wanted to see if it's normal.
My understanding is that vendors could pre-order allotments, those are filled first "in March" then general pre-orders would roll out in April. Also, supposedly both dates had "float built in" given the bad press PRL currently has. Will see! I checked in with TSP a few days ago and they had no...
I did a full day Auto-X school this weekend on the stock tires on the Apexes. Started off at 38/35 cold, warmed up to around 41/38 when I was checking them. I was working the fronts HARD, 10 straight runs with only a couple minutes cool down between laps. Everything seems fine till I got home...
You aren't going to be able to get that much front camber without a front camber kit. -2.0+ is about as much as you can hope for with the guide pins pulled.
Nice work, looks good!
I have the same setup, one rim wouldn't hold air, so they pulled the tire, cleaned it and reseated it. Has held pressure at stock and 40psi+ like a champ since. Does make me worried about getting some 285s to seat properly though...
If you have it use it (but very sparingly). If you don't, I wouldn't worry, these things come off really easy. It's more important when doing slip ons with no indent, those suck...
Make sure you check transmission fluid before driving the car at all. I learned that lesson the hard way when I had a cheap shop install some springs on a car long ago and they broke one of the seals. A week later I no longer had a 5th gear :(
I really wish someone would make a true CF console trim piece for our car.... Maybe soon, otherwise will go with Overland when they release their full kit.
It does show pressure for each tire. And from testing it's relatively accurate. That said, I think if you do the pedal dance it will disable the right display, so you have to manually click it to bring it up. So it isn't an easy way to monitor through the session, but it's fine for before and...
I think you would be better served stepping down to an 18" rim and getting more sidewall then trying to find a stronger rim. As others noted, stock rims are "cheap" and plentiful, not sure you can beat them in a 19".
It's a race to see what comes first, my replacement wheel or my HVI!
Also, Apex mentioned they changed their logo... I hope that's just the center cap and I won't have one mismatched wheel, LOL!
