I’m just glad the wide extended fenders are one piece of sheet metal and not tacked on. And the CTR is perhaps too tame.
That said I actually love the look of all the current Acura Type S cars. They look like Batmobiles to me. But that’s just me :-)
“Policies are just like your opinion man” - The Dude. I would have loved to have said that!!
If that Acura dealer truly wanted to they could or would allow for digital refunds. However, if they are strict about it, I guess as long as it’s refunded in the end, there is little point in fighting...
Wow, a new 2023 CTR at MSRP. As rare as unicorn horn. Just be careful about that bucket seat welding failure recall issue currently going on with certain batches of the CRT.
And same on check refunds from car dealers, they always just reverse the credit card charge, sometimes on the phone even...
To followup on my short previous post, from what I understand or just see happening is that Acura dealers can or will only keep the deposit until they sell the car, after that they have or will refund you. If they keep it at all. As most dealers only use that as a bargaining method anyway to get...
Just got confirmation, I’m third in line for what I believe is a MSRP ITS with no strings attached and I picked my top two color choices which is red or blue with black interior. Hooray!!
I recently had a Honda rep text me what could they do for me, anything at all, so I playfully responded sell me a CTR for no more than 10% markup and give me a fair trade in price and a nice interest rate. She turned into Ms. Hyde and complained she could not even buy one at that price and...
90% of the Type R’s performance, 50% of the Type R’s reliability, and 40% of the Type R’s resale value. JK, mostly, I don’t know the exact numbers.
I’ll tell you, I can’t wait for the ITS’s extra 120HP, as I’m so used to and tired of turning from a stop light/hitting 25mph mid turn/and then shifting mid turn in my slower Interga.
Btw, I’m hoping the ITS’s stick shift and clutch are the same as in the CTR, the regular Integra and Si set is good on those but not quite as good as the CTR
The All Things Acura YouTube podcast said there was lots of ITS cars coming I thought, I have to see that last podcast again to remember fully the number.
I know, I just agree, the TLX TS pros and cons vs the Integra TS, the Integra TS is a better value and or more desirable for a certain crowd like most of us here. I guess I’d have to do cars like a Blackwing or M3 otherwise. But they cost way more, so I’m back to the Integra TS.
I just got on the list for an Integra Type S from my dealer. He wants two color choices from me. Now that it’s real I really want to drive it :) … and I do expect MSRP from them as before.
Right, Integra Type S is better than TLX Type S. I agree. I’ll likely get the Integra Type S, but I was thinking about some more comfortable and more deluxe alternatives. My cap is about $65K with some saving up. Really $55K.
I’m thinking I may have to get an Integra Type S. I don’t want to keep the regular Integra. Although a part of me wants the TLX Type S instead. I just want a really comfortable seat like the TLX has. It’s more deluxe inside.
