Hagarty, Savvage Geese, and Throttle House are right, the times have changed. And I have changed. The average car is very fast today. After driving the new Integra around a bit I can safely say that the car should have started with a variant of the current Accord Sport 2.0T engine and have a...
I like the new Integra, I do drive it the way I like mostly, but I admit I want a bit more easy to wrangle power and I’m getting lazy and older. I think my next car will be a refreshed TLX Tupe-S or RDX Type-S someday. Those will have bigger more comfy seats too. More features and luxjury, and...
And the clutch pickup spot is high… why not just put it in the middle like all then other good ones? I can’t feel where it grabs and I feel I am waiting gas for sure this way as I rev to meet the clutch.
I do have a tendency to sit in my car researching things on my phone with the air on, sipping some Starbucks coffee, perhaps I am ok then. I will keep monitoring.
And yes, mine is the LCM/Red 6MT.
I will give these things a shot, I feel even with noting all these things I should be in the twenties, I never had this issue with my 2013 Si non turbo 2.4L and or my 2019 Accord Sport 2.0T 6MT, I still drive the same, so it’s not all me.
I have not seen a high return on my gas mileage meter yet. I am starting to wonder. I tried resetting the counters, I’m filling up on premium at Wawa, I do idle a lot and I do use AC, but still, I feel 14-20 isn’t quite normal. I do rip the engine a bunch. Perhaps I am just leaning on the clutch...
Sorry, I had to make it a bigger rant with ninja edits - lol. I mean if you are just between cars that’s one thing, I had no car and I really needed my Integra. It takes about 6 months to change your mind, 6 months just to get a car in that you may want to buy. And then you are still fighting...
You know, if you leave a YouTube comment on a new Integra video you get harassed by the Civic Si value nazi crowd. There is room for both options, each can do something for you that the other does not. Personally, I’ll take my no markup MSRP Integra price, my kick ass stereo, hatch, slightly...
Since the new Integra is wider than a Civic Si I’d like to see someone try to put a 2022/2023 CTR suspension in the Integra. Or can you upgrade to an even better than 2022 CTR suspension? Is that possible?
I missed the entire OG Integra thing. By the time I noticed Honda or Acura it was a 2004 Honda Civic Si and an Acura RSX. And the 2006 Civic Si was my OG mid 20’s car.
