Admins please remove this thread. Car I was looking to trade-in on sold this evening, so this deal is no longer available.
Reverting back to my standard for sale listing...
Haha, somewhere in the middle indeed! The story I was told was pretty specific, so I'd imagine it may be pretty close to the truth. There is a ramp that leads to the big double-doors that is at the back of their showroom (used to bring cars in and out of the showroom floor); story goes that the...
Are you sure it is a blue one that has damage to it? Just FYI, their actual launch edition in white was damaged as well when a staff member left it in neutral on an inclined ramp and it rolled down and hit another car. Surprised they have TWO lot-damaged Type-S' lmao.
I’ll have my set for sale if the car itself doesn’t sell. Plan to get an aftermarket set and sell the OEMs if I end up keeping the car.
I’m in NJ - will keep you updated. Are you looking for just wheels, or wheels+tires+TPMS?
Thank you for your advice. I’m not worried about it - if it sells, it sells; if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. I’m not going to lose money to facilitate selling it, simply because I’m not willing to. Though I understand that my position is different than yours in that I’m happy to keep it.

His price looks solid price but it won’t be easy for him to achieve all the moving pieces necessary to make it happen if it’s predicated upon achieving the 3-way transaction and trade in. I know because I’ve been looking into trying to do something similar with 2 Acura dealerships local to me...
It makes no difference to me how you feel, you're entitled to your beliefs! I've flipped cars, properties, etc. in the past — I regard those as flips because I made a profit in those cases. If you happen to have a definition or idea of what a "flip" is that is missing a profit component, then...
Indeed, my intent was to list it for what I paid. I actually just pulled up all my paperwork from the day I bought it and am dropping the price slightly to match exactly what I paid.
I'd be a pretty bad at flipping if it was a flip, considering the point of such a thing is to turn a profit. I...
I have thankfully never had any experience with dealership buybacks. For me, the equation is a bit different as I have other vehicles in the family that I could drive. If I were in your shoes and I could achieve a dealership buy-back and be refunded what I paid for the car, I would get out of it...
That is horrendous mate, so sorry you're dealing with that! I always make a concerted effort to have the dealer do as little as possible because their work is mediocre at best and catastrophic at worst, with things leaning toward abysmal most of the time. No washes, no drilling, nothing besides...
That thread was actually posted a few days after I bought my car. It was giving a heads up to the community on 2-3 cars available through a northeast broker a while back. It actually helped a forum member to secure a black on red ITS at a much lower price point than they would have paid...
Thanks! Wonder if the front Type-S emblem is removable without leaving a rectangular backdrop.
For the front and rear Acura emblems, do know of the piece under the emblem itself is removable without
