792 miles. It was in the title, I just updated the main post to state it there as well, thanks.

Considering the discussion on the linked thread, it appears as though you were on the lookout for one at MSRP and found it. Now you're trying to flip it for more $$? Just the optics...
That thread was actually posted a few days after I bought my car. It was giving a heads up to the community on 2-3 cars available through a northeast broker a while back. It actually helped a forum member to secure a black on red ITS at a much lower price point than they would have paid otherwise, and I'm happy to have been able to help connect them to that deal.

Fortunately for me, this is a forum and I am not a public servant or public figure, so optics aren't of importance to me.

Iā€™m well aware of what Iā€™m asking for the car. I did not go into this DE5 seeking a flip. The listed price is actually what Iā€™m into the car for - whether or not it sells will be up to the market. When I first purchased it, I intended to keep it for a long time to come, and may very well still do so given what my dollar threshold for letting it go is. It would not be for sale if I wasn't being presented with the opportunity to buy a particularly well built local C6 Z06 in the exact spec that I've long held as a dream car since I was a kid. In my mind, it doesn't hurt to list the DE5 and see what comes - if that is nothing, then so be it and the Z will have to have to wait.

Yeah, since you deleted your original post on that thread I couldn't say for sure. Figured if I had that take away others may, so it's good you shared that insight for anyone else who may happen upon it.

I get what you're saying , but MSRP of almost 53k, plus taxes, title/license, and dealer fees.....probally that's the close to the price he paid.
Yeah, you're probably right and he also explained that other thread so, obviously not the case. Though, I'm unsure how many would want to pay taxes/tags/registration from the original owner's purchase and then pay them for their own purchase, but maybe someone will.

Indeed, my intent was to list it for what I paid. I actually just pulled up all my paperwork from the day I bought it and am dropping the price slightly to match exactly what I paid.

It's a flip, plain and simple.
I'd be a pretty bad at flipping if it was a flip, considering the point of such a thing is to turn a profit. I get your sentiment though ā€” its all good, everyone is welcome to their opinions. Its to be expected and inevitable that the listing was going to turn some folks off.

Fwippy flip. Its ok though you adjusted the proce to what you paid now so it's not a flip. Because nobody has ever deceived anybody else in the history of ever.

Nobody buys a car and drives it for <1000 miles then tries to sell it without ulterior motives. Sorry, not sorry.

There is no money after msrp, taxes , and fees. If you call making $500 off of this a flip..ok.

I call a used car a used car. Making money at all buying a car at msrp and selling it used and expecting even to break even is an attempt to manipulate.

I get it the market has been crazy for way too long and everybody likes to make a buck but the time has passed. Prices of used vehicles are plummetting (finally).
