Update: Set the dampers to Sport in individual and the harsh ride is gone. Totally dailyable now. The ride is now just slightly stiffer feeling than stock in comfort and feels very bmw M like is the way I would describe it. Going to hold off on installing the h&r's for now.

Anybody have an issue where the light strip above the door handle doesn't light up? I'm taking my DE5 to the dealer today. So far only issue i've found with my DE5.
Wondering if anybody has gotten a set of the FL5 swift springs and installed them on our DE5's yet. I saw a post of a silver DE5 on swift springs and ce28's and it looks amazing. Looks like a perfect drop.
Oem quality should be pretty solid. I have the M Performance wing on my 2 series and I recently found out they're all made in China. My bmw just has the quick ceramic coat wax from 3M applied. One year later and it still looks brand new, but it's real CF not fake CF paint.

Was quoted $2000 for front end PPF, $650 for tint ( Llumar irx ), and $600 for full car ceramic (including brakes, wheels, fender liner). This includes full clay bar and any paint correcting needed. Honestly didn't seem that bad to me. It's too late to do anything now anyways, but i'll post...
Highly doubt it will. That 3m tape is strong. The CF wing I had on my bmw was only held on by that tape and never had any issues. No issues staying on and surprisingly easy to take off with just a heat gun and plastic pry tools. The 3 additional bolts in existing holes doesn't even look...
I'm probably not going to be keeping the car more than 3-4 years anyways so might as well drive it the way I want while the warranty is active. That's my mentality anyways.
Picked up my DE5 yesterday with 6 miles on the odometer. Dealer stated "there is no break in period" so first redline was at 40 mi lol. Already took it up to the canyons today to bed the brake pads in. It's a superb car and really glad I picked it over the FL5.
