I have a 26k MSRP Mazda 3. It has rattles, but AFAIK, the Integra rattles are worse and the NHV is too. Something you'd expect from the Civic Type R as in a track car, maybe even in the Integra Type S for street sporty, but not an Acura.
Point is, you'd expect better moving upward. If you're...
The non-tech Integra gets the exact same infotainment.
I really think the 10.2" infotainment should be standard, while the Accord 12" infotainment should be the tech package upgrade. I have no idea why a 37k A-spec Tech or 54k ITS is receiving a worse Honda parts bin infotainment than a 34k...
Very optimistic. You have to realize that Acura released the ADX, but before that they gave insanely subpar MMCs to that TLX and even worse for the RDX, which is suppose to be one of their best sellers.
With how little they said, it should get the Civic's newer front fascia. Maybe smoked...
I figured. The problem is that they're trying so hard to position the 1.5t as something luxurious. Having a turbo with less power is somehow luxurious to them, at least per marketing. And I guess, "fun performance"
If they really want to make money, then they should be rushing to put the hybrid...
But not power train? There goes my dreams of a better looking and luxurious Civic Hybrid :(
Hopefully build quality, ventilated seats, and rear seat vents are up there. I'm 100% they'll be removing fog lights
Ahh I see. I have a Mazda 3 Japanese-built and it has some rattles too, but it seems not as bad at all. I do wish they'd upgrade the interior quality for simple things like this. I wonder if the HRV/ADX have or will have the same issue with its Civic-based interior
If build quality is any concern, I assume the Japanese built CTR would be better for pretty much the same car. You can even swap the damper module for a more comfortable ride.
I'd wait for the mid-model refresh on the Integra
My wish is definitely for feature parity with the ADX even just a few features (mainly ventilated seats, pano sunroof definitely won't happen). Unfortunately, I don't think this will happen.
Why? Acura couldn't even do this with their selling models. The MDX received the pushed-forward...
This will be FWD, but it looks like Honda is developing an eAWD system according to some presentation slides. I really hate to see it, but I think we know exactly how it'll go.
They'll add eAWD to the Accord Hybrid Senate, it'll be overpriced compared to the AWD Camry, it won't sell well. Then...
In that case, I'm definitely interested. Wish it were a four door, but I want a hybrid liftback. I know others here want a manual, but I don't personally care for it.
Point is, you don't have to hypermile a hybrid. Hell, you can drive it aggressively and still get great fuel economy. On top of that, Honda adds additional sound deadening and noise-cancellation with the hybrid powertrain AND more torque, and naturally better reliability from an under stressed...
For the most part, yes, but I'd argue the new Toyota Camry, Elantra N, etc. are great values in this economy. Especially compared to the overpriced/underpowered Civic Si, Honda Accord, even Civic Type R.
I liked the color until I realized it looked like a nasty brown unless it was really clean...
Shouldn't it charge quickly breaking in the mountains?
Also agreed. It makes no sense to give the Prelude a hybrid. It's practical fuel economy + impractical coupe application. Meanwhile the Civic in the US only just got it and the Integra probably won't. I really have no idea what Honda is...
I haven't doubled check, but from the top of my head, there were two issues with the steering rack. One was improper assembly at the factor and another was the part defect itself with its design. I think the improper assembly issue was recalled, but not the part defect which is the one that...
Sorry, it looks like Honda has addressed the issue, but hasn't issued a recall just a service bulletin here
"However, the NHTSA notes Honda did release a service bulletin (23-037) in July 2023, directing dealers to replace the electronic power steering gearbox with a new one, if the customer...
Can't give a first-hand answer, but AFAIK
- rattles are an issue. some people have them, some don't. it is something to be aware of test driving your vehicle
- I don't think Integras are built better than a comparable Civic. It literally is a Civic with Civic a majority of the parts coming from...
