I'm not sure if this helps you figure out what happened since you mentioned it was a while ago, but what I've noticed is that if for some reason you lock the car with the gas door open and then close it afterward, it won't lock. I'd imagine that by now the car has been locked and unlocked...
Thank you Padre Dave! That's an interesting point about the sunroof being a potential source of the popping noise. I live in the desert as well, and like your experience, I've noticed this issue since fairly new, but it has become much more pronounced over the last 3 months or so. I'll take a...
Thank you for the suggestion Imperial! In my case, the noise I'm hearing is more of a popping sound rather than a rattle. It seems to be coming from a similar area around the rear passenger door, but the distinct popping sound makes me think it could be a different underlying cause. I'll...
Hello everyone,
I'm hoping to get some insights into an issue I've been experiencing the last couple months. There's a popping sound that seems to come from the area behind the passenger seat, around the headliner or roof (above the second row), whenever I turn the vehicle or drive on an...
I have the same setup. So far, I haven't tested whether that configuration carries over between different key profiles, but what I do is, when I'm in a situation where more people are going to get in, I unlock it by using the front passenger's handle. That doesn't matter what the configuration...
My Integra makes an electronic sound when I turn on the car but I think is coming from the front. It is produced by the brake system that regulates the pressure or at least that’s what they told me at the dealership. They showed me that all Integrals do it 🤷🏻‍♂️.
I had this issue and fixed it easily. I sprayed some silicone lubricant directly on the bolt that holds the buckle to the seat near the center console. That resolved the problem, and it's been a year since without experiencing it again.
The only temporary fix I have found is restarting the infotainment screen by holding down the home, power, and previous buttons until it makes a sound. Then, tapping on 'detailed information and settings' and holding down the back, power, and previous buttons until it makes a sound. Finally...
I have that same squeak but it is not constant. My Integra doesn’t come with a HUD but I hear it in the same area as where the HUD would be. Haven’t found what is making the sound. If you find what the problem is please let us know!
I hope they take it as a defect since the behavior doesn't sound like it is due to rodents. Otherwise, it would never work! I'll probably take mine next year and as soon as I know anything else I'll post it here.
So far I am still experiencing this without knowing what causes it. I do not have any kind modifications in my car so I doubt it has something to do with your dashcam.
Please let us know what the dealer tells you. Hope they find a solution!
Thanks for the replies! I'm guessing the issue then would be with my metal wallet, which I usually carry in the same pocket as the keys. I will experiment with leaving the keys in one pocket and my cell phone and wallet in the other.
I agree, these fobs are very sensitive!
Sometimes while approaching my vehicle, the welcome lights do not turn on as if the key is not detected. But when I place my hand on the door handle, it unlocks and the lights come on. Other times they turn on, but the outside door handle lights don't, even if it is dark outside. This issue...
