Rear cargo mat and seat back protectors?

Ordered the OE cargo mat and seat back protectors. They look nice and should fit the car perfect (car arrives this weekend), but I noticed that they are slick plastic so stuff will be sliding all over the place.

Anyone tried spraying some rubberized coating on them or adding some grip tape?

I haven't tried any of those, but since I also had this issue with the OEM cargo mat, I bought this cargo net:

It does help to keep things in place.
