I agree with you. Power is good, even at stock levels, but tires and brakes are definitely the limitation. I don't do any track days but I do get some pretty spirited driving a few days a week. The biggest things I've noticed with stock brakes is the initial bite is good, but then it feels like...
I just leave it on. I like that it makes downshifts sound good especially with the 27Won exhaust. The only real niggle I have with it is when you pop the car in neutral it with the clutch in it'll really make it rev hang because it thinks you're going to downshift into the next gear. Other than...
Yeah mine has been doing it for a while as well. I think it started about 6-8 months ago. Any time I shift my weight, get in, get out, etc.... I'll have to let my dealer know the next time I'm in for an oil change.
Glad to hear they took care of it. My car has been in for so many things already, they're probably sick of seeing me. So I'll just add it to the list...
Oh heck, I have the same thing going on right now. thought I was crazy that a new car would already have a valve cover gasket leak. I checked all the bolts and none were loose. Guess I have another phone call to make...ugh, this is getting old.
That is hilarious! Our state animal is the Orange Bear (barrel) here in the KC metro and surrounding areas of Missouri. The urge to start a slalom course on I-35 or I-70 is sooo strong....
I will agree that if you can keep these cars around that 45-50 mph mark without much stop and go, that is...
Yeah the last few fill ups have been averaging 3mpg under, but I about blew a gasket when it showed 4 under what the car said. I've never had a vehicle so inaccurate on mileage. And yes this is a small gripe, and I still averaged well over the posted mpg for mixed driving, which I'm ecstatic...
It really is annoying, as I like driving with my windows down as much as possible. I've noticed our seatbelts don't have a lot of tension on them to begin with, which may be part of the problem. Now the middle belt in the back I ended up buckling in and tucking into the arm rest which stopped it...
Here's one for you guys and gals...I've noticed that the on board mpg calculator is off all the time. When I first got the car it was only off by about 2 mpg (I check actual mpg at every fill up), and when I went to fill up today it showed a whopping 4 mpg difference! What the heck?!? It's...
UPDATE!!!
I know it's been a few months, but I finally remembered to update. The dealer ended up pulling my entire dash to fix the problem. The reinforcement bar that everything mounts to wasn't even remotely tight, causing the brake pedal to groan, the clutch pedal to not operate properly...
The title says it all. I've got one persistent squeak that will not go away, which I think may be from around the HUD, but I'm not certain. I've also noticed that when I depress the brake pedal there's an audible, almost groan, it gives off.
So here's a few videos of the squeak in the dash, and...
I guess it wouldn't be too bad., just unbolt the 4 bolts that hold the bar on. The mounts would still stick out from either side, but you'd have most of the factory space. I don't carry too many things that require me to put the seats down...well not yet anyway. I'm still trying to seep it kind...
I've got the factory roof bars. They can be a little loud when it gets super windy. But, they're really easy to take on and off. The factory tool that comes with it is a torque wrench, so you can't over torque it, and fitment is good (well duh, its factory lol).
I did a thing! PRL rear strut bar installed. It looks so good, and makes a slight, but noticeable difference in chassis rigidity. I did install the front star brace a few weeks ago was impressed with the difference it made, so figured I'd get the rear!
I love those wheels! They look amazing on it! If I didn't have two sets of factory wheels already...I'd give up my 19's for those. I'm trying to talk my wife into letting me fit her Alfa's wheels on my car for a day.
I noticed that my Integra JUST started doing that about two days ago. So I now have three completely different squeaks and/or rattles...this new rattle sounds like it's coming from under the dash and occurs between 3000-4500 rpm. There's still the squeak from the bezel around the HUD, and the...
I too have had a dash rattle. It's been a persistent squeak emanating from the drivers' side dash, and I think I actually found it! The bezel that surrounds the HUD clips in to the dash and I noticed that one corner or that bezel wasn't seated fully. from what I can see by prying up on that...
