I had the same thought, especially coming from an ILX where I basically found whatever was cheapest, quality be damned.
But I'm currently putting 91 in my A-Spec, and it barely makes a difference on the wallet. I'm getting 7.2 L/100km (32.6 mpg) and driving 1500km (932 mi) a month, so that's an...
That would be the brake hold. Hill assist can't be disabled, as per this post: https://www.integraforums.com/forum/threads/hill-assist.51145/#post-834677
I know it kills me. Every time I get into my A-Spec and forget to hit the individual mode, it ruins the rest of my day. I need to call in sick to work, grab a beer, and sit on the couch contemplating my life...
I agree that the L15 is certainly by far not one of Honda's better engines, but I also am not a fan of the arguments of "Honda used to overbuild, now they don't", and "they should have known people would modify the crap out of these cars". Enthusiast forums/youtube videos are not a good sample...
Where are you dropping the hood from? I realize the hood is different from the A-Spec hood, but I remember when I first got my A-Spec I had a hard time closing the hood, until I started dropping it from around the half-up position (with respect to the regular position, not the service position).
As long as the grips don't cover your buttons! The first phone mount I got for my Teggy, I didn't notice until I pulled onto the highway. Then the 911 Dispatcher was like, "Sir do you have an emergency or not...". Whoops.
Ah ok. I had to get quoted for 24k a year with 30km round-trip, because I travel a lot. My agent was like, 30km round-trip does not equal 24,000.
Like duh, I know.
Damn. Yeah I was speaking about my local dealer, but actually any of the Acura dealers within 50km of me would probably take a look. That sucks honestly.
That's BS. I mean, they are kinda right, but to not even look at it is BS. I had the rattle on my A-Spec from day 1, brought it in to get it looked at, and they fixed it. 10,000 km later, it popped back up, but I called a few days ago and they're willing to bring it back to re-tighten.
Not to say this kind of agreement doesn't exist. I've had this done with my two previous trade-ins and both were honoured, even though I put quite a few kms on it, and one of them even had a small paint scratch on a door after the trade-in evaluation.
