Just picked up mine today from Erin Mills Acura. I have to echo others in saying that photos don't do justice for this color.

I didn't realize it but they give free lifetime synthetic oil changes (looks to be OEM Acura synthetic). I plan on using my own oil for track in the summer and then have them put in theirs in the fall.

They have a white one to sell right now. Mine had 5k of add-ons but otherwise pretty smooth. At least add-ons are not completely useless in the form of 8yr 200k warranty and ceramic coat with, 10 year appearance protection. Also there's a thing they give in case your car is stolen within 5 years, they give 8k credit on a new car.

Their addon has unfortunately gone up to 7k, but I did have a really great experience with Simon there if anyone's still looking and don't mind the extras. It took 3 weeks between putting down deposit and getting the car.

So I ended up going to the same dealership that day and ended up picking up the White integra after I saw this post. I ended up trading in my 2018 Civic Lx Hatchback and got the white one lol. Tiger Eye pearl would've been my first choice if I had the chance but I was so dead set on getting the car. Thanks for your post I owe you one lol. I picked it up this Saturday and have just spent time breaking it in. It is a complete night and day difference from the 1.5t. Pictures honestly do not do justice for this car it just has so much presence.

These are hard to get cars. I'm glad I could help someone! I got word it was Simon that helped you out too...haha. Congrats!

I'm guessing you've already started making all kinds of excuses to drive the thing. I know I did. I'm just under 500km now after 8 days of ownership, that's with having two kids, one two months old. It's hard to get out the door to be honest. Lol

I think it's almost time to figure out an Integra Mississauga meetup. Maybe invite some CTR guys too.

Have you guys been filling up your DE5s with 91 or 93? I saw that Acura recommends 93 for the ITS but Honda recommends 91 for the CTR. For those of you using 91... any knocking?

I'm pretty sure the 93 recommendation is purely for peak power and Acura wouldn't be stupid enough to have an ECU tune for 91 as well.

I've been putting in 94 at Petro. Won't put less than 93. I'm sure 91 is fine though.

Simon is the man haha!

I've put 500km on it so far and it's nothing but smiles per gallon haha. I've had a couple of people come and talk to me about this car already while I've been out and about. It's been grabbing a lot of attention so far.

I'm very down for a meetup haha. I'm very glad to have gotten this car lol, It's a beast.

94 for the first fill-up at Petro and did a half tank on 93 today. I'll be aiming for 93+. I used to have a K20A which would technically need 95 which was fine on 94. Keep some octane booster in the trunk if you're going for a long drive.

That's a nice looking bunch of cars there.

I think with our numbers, maybe need to find where the usual meets are happening.

I've been out of the game for years and have no idea where all the cool ppl hang out with their cars now. Lol

Maybe I'm just being paranoid, I'm sure 91 is fine even though it wouldn't make peak power.

It just makes no sense that Acura would make the factory base tune for 93 which isn't widely available across NA. Apparently California doesn't have higher than 91 octane? It would have made more sense if the base tune was for 91 and there was a 93 map that made more power.

The Edmunds article states that 91 octane makes it run at 315 Hp

Under the hood is the Type R's turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, but the Integra Type S makes 320 horsepower — 5 hp more than the Civic Type R — but only in certain circumstances. The mild power boost is due to a special tune when you fill up with 93 octane gasoline. States with only 91 octane on tap (like California) will have to make do with 315 hp. Peak power arrives at 6,500 rpm, while its 310 lb-ft of torque hits at 2,600 and stays until 4,000 rpm. Since we all love comparisons, with the right fuel, the Type S offers 120 hp and 118 lb-ft more than the standard Integra and 125 hp and 180 lb-ft more than the legendary Integra Type R.

Check out the SavageGeese YouTube review. ITS make a fair bit more than +5hp on the dyno. I think Acura was conservative when saying 320.

I wouldn't worry about 93 vs 91. I don't think they were that aggressive in the tune as opposed to Hondata 93 vs 91. ECU will learn and retard timings.

Got an email yesterday from Acura (with car VIN) that my car should arrive soon at the dealer. Can't wait! Hope it doesn't take too long...

As for gas, only 91 is available around me...so I hope it can be used all the time!

Congrats! I'm still patiently waiting on my blue one. Dealer has no clue whether it will come this year though.

Wanted a blue one myself. But as you said, dealer told me white or black end of June, or blue I don't know when. So I took white. And delivery will finally be a month later.
