  1. 2024 Acura Integra type S sub replacement

It’s a small amp installed under the false floor in the hatch area
  2. 2024 Acura Integra type S sub replacement

Just to add unless your sub is doing some really impressive excursion. I don’t believe a kit would be needed. See some pics to show the spacing. With the sub being powered by an amp, I don’t get any rattle from the sub hitting the grill.
  3. 2024 Acura Integra type S sub replacement

So, update. I’m still waiting on some stuff to clean up my amp install, but I was able to fit alpine type-r with a spacer. I used a wood spacer with the sides cut down and mounted the sub on top.
  4. 2024 Acura Integra type S sub replacement

it’s an older model but it should fit I just don’t want to cut the box. I’m going to see if I can trim a spacer. You can see the difference in depth of the stock vs the type-r. I’ll keep you guys in the loop.
  5. 2024 Acura Integra type S sub replacement

Sorry I should have been clearer. I'm going to see if I can put an alpine type-r in there with an aftermarket amp. Thanks for the inspiration!
  6. 2024 Acura Integra type S sub replacement

I like the stock look. I’m going to see if I can get away with a small trim ring without chopping up a speaker and the box. The box is relatively big and deep. Here are some pics of it outside the car.
  7. 2024 Acura Integra type S sub replacement

Thanks! I was wondering if maybe a custom made mounting ring would be easier than needing to trim the box itself. Sounds like it might be a little tight.

do you happen to have a part number for the A-Spec toggle?
  10. Official Exhaust Photos, Videos, Sound Clips Thread (Including Aftermarket)

that combined group was a real hot mess when the ITS first hit the street. Never seen so much hate on literally the same car, reskinned
  11. DIY: Keeping exhaust flap open on Integra Type S

Thanks, I tried that as well, but I don't necessarily love the rest of the sport mode+ options. I kind of like the tone without all the pops and bangs as well.
  12. DIY: Keeping exhaust flap open on Integra Type S

The options thing is what I miss. I'm going to probably put it back to normal. I do like however that it is louder without the need to go into the more aggressive tune in sport+ since that it the only way to keep it open. We'll see, still tinkering...
  13. DIY: Keeping exhaust flap open on Integra Type S

Tested and working so far, no CELs Similar to FL5: Step 1: you turn the car on (engine running) select whatever mode opens your exhaust valve. (I suggest you visually verify it's open). Step 2: while the car is running you pull the fuse. Step 3: Store fuse in fuse holder in the lid. Step 4...
  14. How to keep the exhaust always open?

I could completely understand that especially early in the AM. I wonder how much of the noise is also influenced by the tune. It's a little throatier in comfort, but the sport, sport+ adds the pops and bangs.
  15. How to keep the exhaust always open?

I got this working. It is a little different from the CTR, but it works. Also, be aware that if the "engine" selection is not in sport/sport+ mode you will not get any pops or bangs as it seems that is tuning related. The steps: you turn the car on (engine running) select whatever mode opens...
  16. How much did you pay for your Integra Type S?

I'm in the same situation. Mine included all weather mats, tints, and wheel locks. The add-on/accessories were priced in line with Acura's site and the tint was less than what I have paid for in the past for tints installed outside of a dealership. So I was completely ok with the purchase since...
